Our holiday started at the Mandarin in Macau, and from the very beginning it truly felt like a proper escape—one where you are treated as important, genuinely valued, and pampered. Their utmost professionalism was demonstrated in every way they presented themselves. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptional. Hailie, in particular, was incredibly accommodating and thoughtful. She even conspired with my husband to surprise me with a special Mandarin Hotel hand fan, featuring their signature orange design and a leather case embossed with my initials. Inside was a beautiful fan that I will cherish forever. At check-in, the concierge Cristian Paulo provided us with wonderful recommendations. He went above and beyond by preparing a beautifully printed guide complete with coloured illustrations and detailed descriptions of must-see places in Macau. He made us feel as though we were his only guests—never rushing us, and taking the time to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for the city’s scenic and historical highlights. The following day, another concierge added even more thoughtful suggestions and interesting insights to enhance our stay. The restaurant staff were equally impressive. They were attentive, intuitive, and consistently went beyond expectations. One server kindly brought us fresh, warm pastéis de nata even though they were not included in the buffet, and on our last day, Melvin Malnanan gifted me a beautifully boxed special tea—such a thoughtful gesture. The front desk staff (apologies for not catching your name) went out of his way to arrange reservation at a different Mandarin Oriental Hotel (what would be our next stop). Every staff member—from the bell staff to the door attendants, housekeeping, and maintenance—greeted us warmly throughout the day. The room was spacious and impeccably maintained, and every area of the hotel was spotless, beautifully organized, and elegantly decorated. It was clear that great care and attention to detail are a priority here. As we were leaving, the concierge team surprised us once again with a lovely Mandarin Hotel tote bag and arranged a company car to take us to the bus depot—an incredibly kind and seamless send-off. I have never experienced such exceptional hospitality. These memories will stay with me, and I will always treasure our time with the wonderful team at the Mandarin in Macau.

The spa service is excellent. I experienced both the facial and body massage . The technicians Aun and Na are skillful and experienced.I almost fell asleep .
