Our stay at The Venetian Macao was nothing short of spectacular. The room was absolutely fabulous—spacious, luxurious, and incredibly comfortable. But what truly elevated our trip was the awesome service from the staff, who went out of their way to make us feel like royalty. ​A special shoutout goes to the in-room dining experience. Having our meal brought up was a highlight, especially because of the meticulous table setup right in our suite—it felt like our own private fine-dining restaurant! Honestly, standard hotel ratings don't do this resort justice; there should be a separate class called "Venetian class." ​My only minor suggestion for the hotel would be to add a little more variety to the Indian vegetarian menu and the kids' menu to give families a few more choices. Overall, a truly unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

“Amazing price for suite”

The hotel is huge and has the biggest shopping mall in Macau attached. It’s a great location for the strip. The suite we had was amazing value and very well appointed. Loads of options to eat and the spa is excellent and also good value. Highly recommended.

“Beautiful Experience !!”

Amazing property. Rooms are very spacious. It offers an experience of shopping mall with all luxury brands in place. Our kids loved the Team Lab experience. Unavailability of pure vegetarian food is the biggest challenge for which one has to travel to main city to explore food options.

Overall, this was a very disappointing stay for a high-end international all-suite hotel. The biggest issue was the lack of flexibility and poor coordination in housekeeping and turndown service. For a multi-night stay, I was surprised to be told that rooms are normally cleaned only around 3 p.m., which is too late for guests expecting a refreshed room during the day. The turndown service was also poorly coordinated and was not completed during the specific time I had provided when I would be out. As a result, I returned to the suite and still had to wait, which disrupted my rest and use of the room. At one point, I even had to wait in the gym while wearing the hotel room bathrobe because the suite was not ready for me to use comfortably. The in-room amenities also felt far below the standard expected from this level of hotel. There was no coffee machine in the suite, only cheap instant coffee. The mugs and utensils were very ordinary and did not match the image of a premium suite. The in-room slippers were thin, low-quality, and easily worn out, a clear downgrade from the more premium slippers the hotel used to provide in the past. The pool did not provide proper waterproof slippers, and guests were told to use the room slippers, which is impractical once they get wet. There were also mosquitoes or small biting insects around the pool area during the day, which affected the comfort of using the facilities. That said, the room itself was beautiful, spacious, and reasonably well maintained despite the hotel’s age. The pool area was also attractive, with greenery, shade, and a pleasant resort-like atmosphere. The frontline staff at check-in, reception, and the pool were generally friendly, polite, and professional. Overall, the hotel promotes a personalized service experience, but in reality guests seem to have to constantly work around the hotel’s schedule, rather than the hotel serving the guest with flexibility. It feels as if the hotel has been spoiled by a constant flow of less demanding mainland tourists, and has allowed its standards to drop in small but important details. For a hotel charging this level of room rate, it is hard to understand why it would cut corners on inexpensive but essential touches such as coffee, slippers, basic amenities, and service flexibility. As a result, the experience felt more like staying in a serviced apartment than in a true luxury all-suite hotel.
