“would stay again”
gave upgrade and free breakfast after booking.com mishandled my reservation, staff were patient and polite, great location near to taiping street and wenchang street. air-conditioning in room rattled through the night but minor complaint

“Good visit”
Typical Novotel hotel, good service, clean rooms - a bit smaller than some, and the staff were very pleasant. Enjoyable breakfast, excellent choice of Chinese and western style foods. Missed out on a bar downstairs!

“Good hotel right downtown”
Good hotel not new but very clean. Soundproofing not good so rooms noisy. I cannot understand why such hotels do not double glaze their windows. Breakfast was OK but not excellent. Room was moderate in size. No foyer bar which was disappointing as the top floor restaurant/bar is privatly owned.
