I cannot find how I can make a review on the hotel restaurant only so am entering my review here. The restaurant is really good. Good service. Private rooms as is the custom in China so that small groups can eat in a relaxed environment. Very good food with an extensive selection of fresh seafood and fish. you can see them swimming around in tanks outside which is a little off-putting.

“Controversial feeling about this one”

Pros: The concierge showed me to the room, lots of free food in the room- huge fruit basket, cookies, yogurts, etc. Cons: Lots of drunk locals where at the entrance and they also stayed int he rooms- shouting during the night, 3 check-in counters, but only one actually working. Low English ability… more

Pros: The concierge showed me to the room, lots of free food in the room- huge fruit basket, cookies, yogurts, etc. Cons: Lots of drunk locals where at the entrance and they also stayed int he rooms- shouting during the night, 3 check-in counters, but only one actually working. Low English ability of the staff. Noise heater in the room. Waited for hot water for 10+ minutes. The concierge that took me to the room, took my phone, went to the booking application I used to book this hotel and gave 5 stars to it without my asking. Hard to get a cab/taxi meter. If you can - use Didi. Local taxi drivers are refusing to drive by meters.

This is a typical 4 stars Chinese hotel which has seen better days Positive: - No funny smells inside - Clean sheets and towels - Good and comfy bed - A PC in the room - All necessary things are in the room - $8 breakfast. A decent selection - Nice staff Negatives: - The hotel and the rooms show their age - It was very hot inside the room and the AC only had the HOT mode available. The staff offered to bring a fan when I complained - Many rooms don't have windows facing the street, but the inside corridor - No shops or entertainment around the hotel (except for some small snack stores) I'd say the rooms should be 15% cheaper to reflect the condition. There are nicer options in Jinan if you pay a bit more ($10-20).

The hotel was booked by our business partner. The ambience is dull. Hotel is old. I stayed here 7 yeras ago. Comring to other hotels in the town of same range it is average. Had to struggle to give orde for food as no one knows even workable English. Carry offline google translate in your phone for communicating. No minibar in the room. Wardrobe is small. No place for keeping 2nd suitcase.
