Stayed here 2 separate nights while passing through Chengdu. Comfortable, modern rooms. Breakfast buffet had quite a variety of food. Very little English spoken but can get by. They stored one of my bags at the hotel for about 10 days at a time both times that I stayed at the hotel. That was very helpful for my other travels which were on domestic flights with lower baggage allowances. The hotel responded promptly to questions raised prior to arrival. The shuttle service is very handy for getting to/from airport. When you arrive you need to call the hotel and request the shuttle which can be pretty hard if you don't speak Chinese and expensive if you don't have a local sim card. However, the shuttle runs every half hour, on the hour and on the half hour, so if you wait at the pickup point you could get on it. The bus has a digital sign with hotel name appearing in English and Chinese. At the international terminal it is door 5 on the second floor. When you come out of immigration and customs you have to take the escalator upstairs. At the domestic terminal I believe it is Exit A. Not sure if the shuttle continues this regular run throughout the night if no one calls to request the shuttle. On my first visit I attempted to walk over to the hotel from airport because it is kind of across the road from airport but after dragging my baggage more than half way I had to give up because I could not find a crossing and it was too hard to get across the road. My second visit was on a Saturday so lot less traffic and I had less baggage so I did walk over to the hotel.

Hotel room looks good and comfortable, but smelling of cigarette smoke, including the bed sheet. Room light switches are not functional, some lights could not switch off. Spacious room but lack of electric sockets. Worst, the receptionist is not professional enough to receive guests. In our case, we presented our booking number that was given by the Travel Agent, the gentleman said could not find the booking and insisted we came to the wrong hotel. After staying this brief hours, we were indeed stayed in a “wrong” hotel.

I spent a night here after arriving in Chengdu at night and was due to leave for Mount Qingcheng the next morning. My non-smoking room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Breakfast featured a good spread and there were plenty of dining tables available for guests. My only complaint would be the fact that the car transfer service to Mount Qingcheng which the hotel arranged for us ended up costing triple of the norm. Unless you're on a business trip which all expenses is covered, please avoid booking transport via the hotel. The ride-hailing app Didi is fantastic and we wished we had a local mobile number to register with so we could utilise it.
