The Intercontinental Century City team work hard day and night to check in various guests and large groups consistently. They've made me feel like a second family and I highly recommend them if you're visiting Chengdu in the future! They've upgraded me at various times which is appreciated too!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at InterContinental Century City Chengdu, where I booked the Executive 1-Bedroom Suite with Club InterContinental lounge access. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the contrast between the hotel's modern exterior architecture and the rich, traditional Chinese design inside. Stepping into the lobby and my suite felt like being transported into an ancient Chinese palace, with stunning intricate woodwork, elegant décor, and a warm, cultural ambiance. My Executive Suite was incredibly spacious (108 sqm), featuring panoramic city views, a deep soaking tub, a separate living area, and luxurious Byredo amenities. Every detail was well thought out, making my stay both comfortable and indulgent. One of my favorite parts of the hotel was the beautiful tea house located just above the breakfast restaurant. Even though it was indoors, the design—with trees, shaded areas, and ornate details—made it feel like a tranquil outdoor retreat. The gym was quite large and well-equipped, perfect for maintaining a fitness routine. While the property doesn't have a pool, it makes up for it with a full-service onsite spa for relaxation. Plus, its prime location next to the Chengdu Century City Convention Center makes it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. Overall, I loved my experience here—elegant, comfortable, and rich in culture. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chengdu!

“Good Established Hotel”

A decent Intercontinental property in Chengdu, it is not a new hotel, but it retains a certain degree of class and grandeur. A decent Intercontinental property in Chengdu, it is not a new hotel, but it retains a certain degree of class and grandeur. The lobby restaurant with real trees and real birds is very pleasant, and add the design of the tea house upstairs, it all makes for a very very nice ambience. Club Intercontinental is big, service was a mixed bag, some staff like Maggie, Yulia, Shirley were awesome, while some were not well trained and were simply not interested. The cuisine standards were good, but if only they knew how to keep the food warm, what a waste. Housekeeping staff were all awesome, nothing is too difficult, laundry service was excellent, the gym was very functional with good staff, like Lucy for eg. Rooms are good, and functional, although some parts showing some wear and tear, but no big problem to me. No pool at this hotel, location is ok, there is a huge park opposite , and the global center mall is aobut a 15 minute walk away. Concierge staff were helpful . REception staff who checked us in , Verity, was amazing. The restaurant staff were all very good, except for the egg station crew who needed a bit more training, but they were very nice and pofessional. OVerall, thank you to all the staff.
