This old but yet quite modern 17 storey hotel is about 30 mins from the airport. It is tucked in a small alley which provides a good buffer from the noisy nearby shopping Malls. The room is spacious and very clean. The bed, pillows and comforter are very comfortable. I had a good sleep. Morning breakfast is provided at the 5th floor restaurant where you can just walk in. No staff was at the entrance to welcome you and there is no verification at the entrance that you are a hotel guest which normally other hotel will do. Breakfast is mainly local dishes. Tourists who may not get use to the local breakfast can find MacDonald and KFC which are within minutes of walking distance. Good location at the centre of the business and shopping district. You are within few minutes to many shopping Malls. It is also within short walking distance to the Chunxi Road Subway station. The staff are efficient but not friendly. I guess that's the Chinese culture. It was very thoughtful of the hotel to place a coarse stone slap in the shower to overcome the slippery floor. Kudos for the thoughtfulness. I recommend this hotel for its Value for money, spacious room, good location and comfortable bed.

“Very nice 4 star hotel downtown”

Nicely furnished rooms located in downtown shopping district. Comfortable beds. Beautiful bathrooms. Excellent breakfast buffet. Entrance is a bit hard to find as it is down a short alley. The exterior of the hotel is non de script but rooms are very nice

“Excellent location & value for the price”

I wanted a five star hotel during my stay in Chengdu because the prices were very reasonable but my wife wanted this particular hotel. Of course, the boss got her way lol, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very decent! The location is perfect as it is in the heart of Chunxi Road, and very centrally located in Chengdu. It is a five minute walk to the metro, Bread talk is 50M away and a Starbucks and McDonalds are a couple hundred meters away. The taxi had no problem finding the hotel too which is usually a concern with lesser known places. We checked in very late at night and the attendant had limited English skills but was amazing. She upgraded our hotel to the 16th floor, gave me coffee instead of tea and suggested a local hot pot place which was nearby and it was awesome. The interior of the room was ok and the amenities were fine. The view of Chunxi Road was quite good and the bed and shower were comfortable. If I return to Chengdu, I’d certainly return to this neat little hotel with excellent location and friendly staff.

We stayed here as a group following a Charity Trek along the Great Wall as an extension to the trek. The hotel was good with comfortable rooms, but the location was fantastic for the City. It was in the heart of the main shopping area. Chengdu is a wealthy city with numerous 5 star hotels, some under construction but if you were looking for a good value comfortable night, this hotel is perfect. The buffet breakfast was fun! (beware hot orange juice!)
