Modern hotel , spacious lobby. Located near main road with public bus services to nanping pedestrian shopping street for 1 yuan. Clean spacious rooms nice big bathrooms with tea making facilities. Air cond worked well. Wifi was mediocre. One of the better hotels during our Yunnan tour. The restaurant served average usual Chinese breakfast. We also had one dinner here which did not suit our palate.

“Decent hotel with decent price”

I stayed for 5 nights for a Trade fair I had to attend from India in this hotel. It took 40 minutes from Kunming airport and RMP 90 in a metered taxi. Hotel deposits RMB 200 as caution deposit once you check in. I got a double bed room at 6th floor. Huge room with much huge bathroom. No balcony. Yo… more

I stayed for 5 nights for a Trade fair I had to attend from India in this hotel. It took 40 minutes from Kunming airport and RMP 90 in a metered taxi. Hotel deposits RMB 200 as caution deposit once you check in. I got a double bed room at 6th floor. Huge room with much huge bathroom. No balcony. You feel like your bathroom is your balcony which has full wall glass and can view outside. I heard from others that in 10th floor rooms are much smaller and have proper view. I don't complain as whole day I was out for work. The reception people don't understand English at all. very difficult to communicate. Only their manager understands. In China everybody smokes everywhere so dont be surprised if you cans ee people smoke in a non smoking room. They are giving complimentary Breakfast . But 6 days I found the same menu and again nobody can communicate in english. Hotel has a massage parlour and a night club. You can expect a daily room clean by staff. Beds are comfortable. MY stay over 5 nights was good. No such complaint.

The location is very good but what is the use if the staffs speak no English. Not a word of English. Absolutely clueless about the places you seek their assistance to go. That is a big shortcoming in this hotel . The rooms are big but I am unable to say they are vry clean because the carpet is dirty , Never cleaned even once during our one week stay in the hotel.Other wise the rooms are O.K. with a very big washroom. Another bis shortcoming is that none of the room has windows and you feel a bit stuffy and warm even when it is cool and pleasant out side. It is also going to a bit difficult for non smokers because there is absolutely no objection to smoking in any room,weather smoking room or not,and as a result everything in the room smells of cigaratte perticulerly because the rooms have no windows and the A.C does not function properly. The breakfest is of the same menu everyday but O.K specially taking into consideration the price you pay for the room. WiFi is there in the room but not functioning properly. I suppose this hotel is good for the money you pay. I dont think you can expect anything more than the facilities now available for the price you pay. We asked for a twin room before we went but got a room with a double bed and when we objected they did not understand what we were talking about and we had to be satisfied with what we got.
