great location for this hotel. it has good large size rooms and you can ask for smoking or no smoking rooms. the rooms are very large, with good furniture and comfortable beds. large bathroom with a tub if you like and they also have a good breakfast. overall the staff is friendly and speak very simple English. overall a good experience and I sincerely recommend it

The service and rooms were a lot better than I had expected. At least one of the reception staff had good English. The location is good for access to the West Lake, with a 20 minute walk through the road tunnel. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was due to the Spa facilities, however these are undergoing refurbishment, so I'd recommend checking that they're open before booking if this is a requirement.

We arrived to the hotel with a taxi from the railways station. The check in was quick and efficient and we found the service very friendly (I asked and received a guide of Hangzhou and we asked a couple of time a taxi). The price of the taxi is very cheap and so a convenient way of travel without loosing a lot of time looking for a bus or walking a lot. The room was good and as usual a lot of free amenities useful for your stay. The hotel was of good quality and the price we paid was really low, one of the cheapest we paid in our trip to China.

“value for money”

i got a room that smells like cigarettes. but a few of us booked rooms in the same hotels but others don't have the problem i had. so ask the front desk to give you a non-smoking room. other than that, everything is clean. good value for money.

We booked this hotel for one night on business. It was fine, nothing special and pretty cheap at less than £50 per night. The rooms were fine, clean and spacious, flat screen tv etc. But there's no wifi in the rooms, available at reception, but very hit and miss. Overall, it was fine for one night on business, but if you are coming to Hangzhou on holiday, there are nicer hotels in a much nicer setting by the lake, stay in one of those unless you are looking for a low cost place which is a little out of the way (that's what this place is) There's supposed to be a spa, but it's not in the same building as the hotel, it's somewhere up the street.
