“Comfortable Stay with Great Mall Access”

We stayed at Shangri-La Yiwu for 4 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The rooms were comfortable, and we really appreciated the smart toilets. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its direct access to Glory Mall on the 2nd floor, which made dining and shopping extremely convenient. There are plenty of food options within a short walk — McDonald's, Burger King, Vatan (Indian), Starbucks, Bosphorus (Turkish), Domino’s, Sultan-Mado (Turkish), and more. There’s also a supermarket on the basement level, which was very handy. Bosphorus served delicious Turkish food — highly recommended! The taxi from the airport to the hotel cost around CNY 45 (metered). The hotel is also conveniently located for the Yiwu markets. District 1 is right across the street, roughly a 10–15 minute walk. However, Districts 2 to 5 are quite far to walk, so you may need to take a taxi. Be cautious when taking taxis from right in front of the hotel — many refuse to use the meter and quote inflated prices. Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor. While the variety was good, it would have been nice to see some rotation in the menu, as it was the same selection every morning during our stay. One downside is the traffic noise and frequent honking in the evenings, especially between 5pm and 6pm, which can be disturbing — we could hear it even from the 23rd floor. There is also an on-site Thai spa called Thai Inshore Spa, but we found it just average and not particularly memorable for a hotel of this standard. Overall, a convenient and comfortable stay, especially if you want direct mall access and good food options nearby. We would happily stay again.

They were attentive, professional, and very supportive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly and with great care. Their dedication and hospitality truly reflect the high standards of Shangri-La, and I am very thankful to them for making my experience exceptional. As a small suggestion, I would kindly recommend offering a wider variety of halal food options at breakfast to better accommodate Muslim guests.

I recently stayed at the Shangri-La in Yiwu, and I can say this visit was a big improvement compared to my last stay. This was an important trip for me, and the difference was really made by the staff. Evelyn Wang was outstanding — on my first day I had a small issue in the room, and she personally stepped in and handled it very quickly. After that, she continued to follow up and made sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. That level of care makes a big difference. Kerman was also great, always attentive and making sure everything was running smoothly. You can tell both of them genuinely care about the guest experience. At check-in, Iris Tong did a very good job as well. The process was smooth, professional, and welcoming, which sets the tone when you arrive. I also want to recognize the reservations team behind the scenes — everything was well arranged before arrival, and that doesn’t go unnoticed. Overall, this stay was much better thanks to the people. When you have team members like Evelyn and Kerman, it really elevates the experience.
