Had an amazing stay at Palm Grove Rarotonga. We were in a garden studio just near the swimming pool and with the private beach just across the road. The studio was very clean; with a kitchen we were able to cook if we wanted and also had use of a BBQ just by the pool. Our unit was serviced daily by very friendly staff. There is a restaurant and bar and breakfast was included in the price. Very friendly staff especially in the office who were able to help with any queries we had as well as book us in for a green turtle tour (Ariki tours just up the road). It was very quiet and relaxing - the only noise we had was the roosters who crowed a lot - these are all over the island. We had a very friendly hen whom we nicknamed Henny Penny who really wanted to join us in our unit, so we kept the door closed. Palm Grove was so relaxing, and we made friends with loads of our fellow neighbors from different countries -Canade, Australia, America to name a few. I think the relaxing atmosphere of Palm Grove made many people drop their barriers and converse with fellow travelers. The beach across the road was so beautiful where we could go swimming as well as snorkeling, kayaking as all the gear for this was provided by Palm Grove. Lovely evening beach walks to watch the sunsets. There were entertainment nights as well - one night a talented young lady who sang and played guitar. Friday night was happy hour with a live three-piece band, and Sunday night was a BBQ buffet. There is a bus stop right outside the complex. Down the road about 5-minute walk there is Wigmore's supermarket with everything you needed as well as a great variety of cone ice creams. Across the road from Wigmore's is Circles - a little cafe where we got great morning coffee, and next to that is a pizza place. Overall, a great place to stay and unwind which we soon did. Was there a negative about staying at Palm Grove? - Yes, in that we only booked a week. We will be back again for a longer stay next time. Thanks Betsy and the staff for a fabulous time - we give you 10 out of ten for out stay.

We stayed in the garden bungalow at Palm Grove for three nights. We had lovely stay. It is one the best locations in Rarotonga. Quiet and relaxing environment. Beautiful garden. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and spacious. Kitchenette facility inside the room was handy to prepare simple lunch. My daughter also enjoyed the swimming pool. Yellow Hibiscus, the restaurant on site, offered dinner daily. We liked the food and the price was reasonable. Live music on Tuesday night and we loved it. Definitely we will come back to stay if we visit Rarotonga.

Loved everything about Palm Grove, from the best beach on the island to it's restaurant & pool and its proximity to Vaima Restaurant, Circles Cafe & Wigmore's Supermarket and their wonderful Betsy we couldn't fault it. Well be back, again.😇💥💯

We stayed at Palm Grove for a week in early May, & were so happy with that choice. We had booked a beachfront bungalow, & could walk off our front verandah, down onto the sand & into the lagoon. The water was crystal clear, & the coral & fish meant snorkelling was great. We could also use the kayaks too. The cottage was simply but nicely decorated, the bed was extremely comfortable, we had a fridge, m/wave & gas hot plates & shower/hot water was good. We had a dining table on the front balcony & a big reading chair, but could also sit inside when it rained, which happened often. The restaurant, Yellow Hibiscus, & reception are a quick 1 minute walk across the road, & there’s also the bus stops right out front for the island bus. We loved the quieter location too, but you could also walk to Wigmore’s Supermarket, & a few other cafes for lunch or dinner. There was a continental type breakfast served every day, which was good, & throughout the week there was a bbq night, & happy hour. They also offered the opportunity to attend a local church on Sundays. The staff were all lovely, no question too hard, no request too much, from the office to the kitchen staff, housekeepers & drivers. We would recommend Palm Grove as a really comfortable & relaxing place to stay.
