“Good value hotel but nothing special ”

We stayed a full week in the hotel. It had quite big rooms but was not kept top notch. The value of the stay was very good. For me personally as I am not a breakfast person it was fine breakfast but my family members were complaining that it was bland. The cleaning lady did not clean the room every day. They were nice in the reception and accomodating and offered parking for free. They have some strange thing that I think workers sits at the entrance and smoke - I would recommend the hotel staff to get rid of this as it drags down the impression quite drastically.

The hotel is nice with everything you need for a basic holiday. Nothing extraordinary, but nothing to complain about either. We have visited the hotel three times and apart from one time, where they forgot to give us familyroom, theres hasn't been any problems :) We booked a familyroom, which is two connected doublerooms. The rooms a nice and the beds comfortable. The breakfast is good and the staff is mostly seen with smile on their faces. Well maintained and clean. Placed close to Prague whether you travel with car or train. It can be very warm in summertime. You can, on request, get a fan in the room, if available.

Stayed 6 nights on holiday Large hotel in Beroun just outside the city walls, 10 minutes walk to the train station which takes you to Prague Main station (Praha hln) in 40 minutes-1 hour. Was very pleased with the room size and height, but our room was located towards rather tall buildings for Beroun and a Road in the middle which caused that the traffic noise bounced off the buildings making it quite noisy in the room with open window. The room had a slim shape with few Windows and only one of Them could open. It was very hot in the room even though the temperatures had cooled off, so we Daily had to make the choice between a hot(ter) room or noise from open Windows that bordhered us in our sleep. If you want to stay at this hotel make sure to ask for a room toward the other side, the city walls! And if you come to Beroun in the summer you Might want to heavily consider getting a hotel with aircondition! Temperatures Can easily be 35 degrees celsius. Breakfast was okay but nothing out of the ordinary for a 4 star hotel. Good selection of local cakes/crossaints but only hot milk? The juices were diluted and I really did not like the Apple and orange juice. Juice seemed expensive in Czech so thats probably why they could not serve fresh juice. One of our bedlight switches did not work upon arrival, this was fixed between 48 and 72 hours into our stay, which seemes quite late. The shower was in a bathtub, so you had to stand up in the bathtub if you wished to take a standing shower. Not very handicapped or elderly friendly! We were given out a mat upon wish, as I was afraid my Old man would trip. The mat however was not with suction cups, so it was not much of a help. As for the hotel otherwise the stay was very cheap, the staff was friendly and apart from the noise from the outside the hotel was quiet and the wifi worked very well in our third floor room. If you choose this hotel make sure to ask for a room towards the city walls, but you Might consider staying at a smaller hotel inside the city walls which has more charm and is quieter.
