“Beautiful accommodation, but dining concept with room for improvement”

We booked our stay directly with the hotel – 1 adult and 1 child (8 years old), Junior Suite, 2 nights with half board. The room was excellent: very spacious, spotlessly clean, and with a beautifully designed bathroom and a great shower. Coffee and tea were available in the room, minibar for an extra charge, and complimentary water upon arrival. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself feels well maintained, clean and in very good condition. The hotel’s à la carte restaurant is open from noon and offers a daily menu. The overall culinary concept, however, feels somewhat unclear – a combination of Czech and Asian cuisine that does not fully align with the atmosphere of a traditional Czech mountain resort. Service was pleasant and polite; the staff are young and clearly still gaining experience, which is understandable. Breakfasts (half board) were one of the highlights of the stay. The selection was generous and varied, including quality cold cuts, fruit, yogurts, muesli and cereals, jams and spreads, pancakes, porridge, scrambled and boiled eggs, fried eggs, omelettes, sausages, beans, fresh vegetables, a wide range of breads including gluten-free options, as well as coffee, teas and several juice options. Dinners were unfortunately disappointing. Drinks are not included. The food selection felt chaotic, combining Czech, Slovak and Asian cuisine without a clear concept – dishes such as goulash-style stews, Slovak bryndzové halušky, tofu rolls, herb-roasted chicken breast, shrimp cocktail, lasagne and ravioli were all served side by side. Overall, the experience felt closer to an “all you can eat” buffet without a defined theme rather than a thoughtfully curated hotel dinner. The children’s buffet, while a good idea in principle, was particularly underwhelming. The selection relied heavily on frozen or highly processed items such as breaded schnitzels, pizza, sausages or fried dough. For a hotel of this category, a more freshly prepared, balanced and child-friendly offering would be expected. We did not use the wellness facilities. Bowling was only available late in the evening, which is not ideal for families with young children. The location is outside the town center, ensuring peace and quiet. A shortcut to the center was kindly suggested by the reception staff, although the walk still takes around 15 minutes and the return uphill can be a bit demanding. There was no snow during our stay, so the ski lift was not operating, but the weather was beautiful and the surroundings are perfect for walks, especially towards Medvědín. Overall, the hotel offers very comfortable accommodation, cleanliness and friendly service. With a more clearly defined dining concept and improved quality of evening meals, the overall experience would feel better aligned with the hotel’s positioning.

The pool was nice, but it was a bit crowded in the afternoon. It would be nice if the food was a little warmer. Although the location is very convenient as it is right next to the ski lift. All in all a good experience

“Very Good”

Everything was good. + perfect location, nearby the elevator + kids play room + good internet + view + swimming pool and jacuzzi - price, but I as I remember I was there in high season - I would rate it for 5 stars, but I lost 40 mins for check in which is unbelievable.

“Pleasant stay ”

Pleasant stay, but outdated hotel. No free water on the room and room services are charged 100czk for any order. Rooms are without balconies. Good location, close to the smal ski buggy lift. Breakfast ae good and nice. In general hotel is good but not worth the price
