This is a very nice hotel, right outside the city centre. The beds are extremely comfortable and the hotel is very clean. It's also cosy with sofa chairs and the bathroom is spacy and the shower is great. Wi-fi works. Breakfast is delicious, it has everything one might want. For evening relaxation there's a delicious restaurant right across the street where you can get a variety of dishes, also some typical Czech food.

“Great receptionist! ”

Very nice receptionist Marie who made our stay worthwhile on a very late arrival and not having eaten! Marie, thanks for everything you did! You made sure we got a parming space and even delivered our food with a big smile. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

“Basic Comfort”

The room is typically small but functional. No air conditioning and only 1 small table fan. Very uncomfortable in the hot weather. The beds are comfortable! “A hotel firmly in the world of middle ground.”

As the title says, there was nothing necessarily bad about this hotel, but there was nothing really good, either, so it was firmly in the middle, like a 3 out of 5 rating. As the title says, there was nothing necessarily bad about this hotel, but there was nothing really good, either, so it was firmly in the middle, like a 3 out of 5 rating. It was clean, but not spick and span, as they say. Hotel staff were fine, but certainly didn’t go out of their way. The four-bed room was decently sized with a desk, separate bathroom and entryway, so size of the room was fine. Same goes for two-bed room. It had enough room for us and the baby cot. Not a perfect location, but there's a tram (light rail) stop right outside the front door, so it's connected easily to downtown Brno. Wi-Fi was good enough to stream a basketball game. Breakfast was pretty poor. It was the usual European buffet, but eggs and stuff like that were always cold. The juice was watered down (this seems to be a somewhat common trick in the Czech Republic). Parking was interesting. It was around the back of the building, maybe 100 or so meters down a one-way road. It wasn't exactly clear where to park; I had to ask the staff a couple times, which required a trip in the rain back to the lobby. Also, there are times the doors to the parking can be locked, so be prepared for that extra walk. Stairs, stairs, stairs. It was burning hot in the rooms and the radiators didn't work, so I couldn't turn them off. Kind of expensive for the dated facilities, poor breakfast, and other inconveniences.
