Fantastic location, just a short walk to the Metro and Copenhagen Central Station. Lovely 'Boutique' style hotel with nice Scandi Mid Century vibe & interior. Our room was a bit cramped, but we decided to go with it rather than change, but everything worked well, good shower & wc facility. A bit pricey considering the size of the room, but nevertheless we didn't feel at all ripped off and would use the Mayfair again, but book a bigger room next time. Everywhere was very clean & tidy & everything worked. Noise levels were low except for the unexpected fireworks close by on the Saturday night! Service was good, all staff were comparatively young, but very courteous, helpful and efficient. The breakfast spread was fantastic. Good indoor and outdoor sitting and bar areas, everything you need for a long weekend city break.

“Great value and location near to Main Station”

Excellent value, great location and brilliant staff - loved the outside area and the bedroom was so clean. Huge thank you to the staff and wish we had booked breakfast.

Only complaint is that every night when the outdoor space where cleaned (?), it was very loud scraping noise from the furniture. That woke us up.

The hotel is in a great location for a city trip, close to both the metro and train station. The design is modern and stylish, the rooms are clean, and the bathrooms are spacious. The rooms in the side building are especially quiet. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful, and the WiFi worked perfectly. On the downside, the mattresses were quite soft, and there was no safe, fridge, no coffee machine, no TV program (just stream your own IPhone channels to the TV) or air conditioning in the room. The housekeeping system was also inconvenient: cleaning had to be requested before 9:00 a.m. on the day required, but on both days our room still had not been cleaned when we returned at around 4:30 p.m. So if u come back from a day long city tour no chance to relax and made yourself comfortable, you still have to wait. Since their calculation is based on this “no-cleaning-the-room” in terms of resources, the additional workload is put to the cleaning staff which does this all at the end of the day. In general the concept behind this cleaning approach is wrong. They want to be sustainable, but they interpret the cleaning request to remove also all towels and replace them with fresh one. For me, a hotel stay means a cleaning of my room every day and the replacement of the towels only if they are lying on the floor. The response from the receptionist: if I request a cleaning of my room I also need to inform them NOT to replace the towels. What a mess! Breakfast was delicious, with eggs freshly prepared to order. However, at €30 it was quite expensive. Omelettes also cost extra, and for this price I would have expected better coffee than filter coffee. Overall, a stylish hotel with an excellent location and very good staff, but some room facilities and the housekeeping service could definitely be improved and the breakfast costs need to be reviewed.
