Excellent hotel - and well located in Copenhagen. The staff were very helpful and service operated at a high level across the board. I accidentally left a pair of jeans in the hotel post check out - when I contacted the hotel, Paloma was very helpful and prompt in arranging a return to me (and that was really appreciated). Would recommend this hotel - it also runs an excellent breakfast offering.

“Modern, comfortable and a great location”

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights on our first trip to Copenhagen. I did a lot of research and was specifically looking at 5 star hotels. I chose the NH Collection because it looked more modern and had more of the amenities I wanted than some of Copenhagen's older luxury hotels. I'd stayed at a few other NH hotels before (NYC, Geneva) and always thought of them as similar to a Marriott or Hilton, so I was initially surprised this was considered a 5 star hotel. I later learned that NH Collection is their more upscale brand, and overall we had a great experience. Check-in was easy. One thing I really liked about the hotel's website is the interactive images of the different room types, which made it easy to know what I was booking. I booked a corner room and it looked exactly like the photos. The room didn't have much of a view, but I really liked the design and space. It was comfortable, modern and very well appointed. The only minor issue with the room was the air conditioning which didn't work particularly well. From what I'd read, that's not unusual in Copenhagen. Luckily, the front desk provided us with a fan, and even in August it wasn't very hot, so that made the room comfortable. We had breakfast at the hotel one morning and it was really good with a lot of options. A bit pricey but comparable to similar hotel breakfasts I've had in Europe. The location was also perfect for us, right on the water and within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. My only hesitation is the 5 star designation. When I think of a true 5 star hotel, I think of brands like Four Seasons or Ritz-Carlton. To me, this felt more like a very nice, upgraded 4 star hotel than a true 5 star luxury experience. That said, we had a great stay and were very happy with our choice.
