Great location, very clean, staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Being on the main road overlooking the bay I was concerned about noise but it was very quiet. I loved that they had a water dispenser just outside the door with hot,cold and room temp options and there was a kettle in the room. Room also had mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast is on the roof top and they cook to order so no cold eggs.

We really loved the fantastic views from our balcony during the last four days of our trip through the Galapagos. There is so much going in the harbor and along the waterfront, it was fascinating just relaxing out there and watching all the boats and sea lions (who knew that sea lions could jump out of the water like dolphins). We found Puerto Baquerizo Moreno to be a pleasantly attractive town and seafront. The hotel is in an ideal location just a very short walk from the ferry pier. And the sunsets are magnificent. There were one or two technical difficulties during our stay and the breakfast really needs to be improved (terribly limited and repetitive). But we loved the atmosphere so much I had to give this hotel a 5-star review.

I stayed eight nights at the Galapagos Sunset Hotel while visiting my son who was studying at USFQ, and it was wonderful! Andrea, Susanna and especially Max, were incredible — warm, helpful, and went above and beyond. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable. The location on the waterfront is perfect, close to restaurants and the pier. My room was clean and quiet, and although I barely needed the AC, it worked perfectly when I did. I also loved having filtered water dispensers right outside my door. Breakfast on the rooftop was excellent every morning, and the hotel provided beach towels. Overall, the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.

Room had a great view of the marina & pier, with picuturesque sunsets every day. Room was spacious and had most of the amenities you expect. Room had a great view of the marina & pier, with picuturesque sunsets every day. Room was spacious and had most of the amenities you expect. Air conditioning was excellent, and they even had an air purifier. Bathroom was decent, with a good shower. But there was no place to keep toileteries. Service was very good. Breakfast was disappointing - for the price they charged, there should have been more options. They only had eggs (made any way you want), white bread, & some limited fruit options. Location was excellent. Plenty of restaurants & stores within walking distance, and the pier for boarding boat tours just steps away.
