First off, this was my first time traveling abroad, so I might exaggerate a little. 📍 Location Advantages: Very close to the ship/boat harbor and passport control The sea view is absolutely AMAZING and spectacular, especially from the beach area The surroundings feel open and relaxing Disadvantages: In Taba there is basically nothing outside the resorts No shops, no real residential area, nothing to explore The closest place to actually go out is Dahab, which is quite far 🌴 Atmosphere (vibe of the place) Advantages: The overall vibe was extremely relaxing and calm The sea in the morning is unbelievably peaceful, almost glass-like, with soft waves The Salt Lake / Lagoon is a GREAT idea for both kids and adults who don’t like the sea The lagoon has clear seawater, soft sand, and even sea turtles and fish, which makes it feel like a natural paradise Disadvantages: Most of the time it felt crowded Only early early mornings felt peaceful The pool water was freezing 💰 Value Advantages: It is all-inclusive, which makes it feel worth it You don’t really worry about extra costs 🥩 Food Advantages: The restaurants were AMAZING, the food quality was seriously impressive The outdoor barbecue area was next level Burgers were very good, kebab was fantastic, and the steak was the BEST steak I have ever tasted in my life The bars were also incredible, making drinks like mojitos with 7UP, ice, and colored syrup (green, red, blue) which tasted extremely refreshing Smoothies were also available There are 3 bars: 1 near the pool 1 near the salt lake / lagoon 1 in the lobby The lobby and lagoon bars are usually quiet and much better than the crowded pool bar Disadvantages: The food was repeated almost every day Breakfast stayed the same (balila, mashed potatoes, omelette, puff pastries) Lunch also repeated (beef, chicken sausage, fried filet, pasta) The juice inside the restaurant was VERY diluted every time Coffee machines were often broken or out of milk (cappuccino, latte, flat white were inconsistent) 🔇 Noise Level Advantages: Early mornings were peaceful, calm, and full of natural sea sounds Disadvantages: Noise from crowded pool areas and restaurants during the day 👨‍💼 Service Advantages: Staff were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful Honestly the service was amazing overall, I would come back just for the staff Check-in and check-out were okay and smooth Disadvantages: Sometimes service was a bit slow, but still good quality 🎯 Amenities Advantages: A LOT of activities and facilities: Pools Speed ball Volleyball Badminton Spa Football on sand Billiards AND the BEST one: an indoor squash court The animation team was very energetic and fun Activities like group exercises and dancing sessions were really enjoyable Disadvantages: Can feel a bit crowded sometimes 🧼 Cleanliness Advantages: Staff try every morning to clean the beach sand area, which is appreciated Disadvantages: Honestly, cleanliness was VERY BAD in many areas If you dig into the sand near the beach, you can find cigarettes, branches, and even old toys Inside the hotel, cleanliness was a BIG problem 🛏 Rooms (Room 2129) Advantages: Rooms are big and spacious Nice balcony access and shared outdoor space between rooms The garden area and sprinklers outside were very nice Disadvantages: Fridge door was broken Room cleanliness was VERY BAD Dirty bathroom, shower, floor, and bed Sand everywhere inside the room Yellow and brown stains in the toilet Shower had visible dirt buildup Strong bad smell in the room I had to call cleaners multiple times First time they just mopped and left Second time a cleaner named “Eslam” came and he was actually very good, clean, and respectful HUGE mosquito and fly problem Honestly felt like there were more flies than anything else Location of the room was far Long walk to reach restaurant, pool, or lobby ⭐ Final Summary Overall, I would rate this resort 6/10. The food, service, and size of the resort were absolutely spectacular, and the experience was memorable. However, the main issue that brought the rating down heavily was cleanliness, especially inside the rooms.
