“Enjoyable trip”

This was my second experience. I came in September and received the same warm welcome from Ms. Hala, the guest relations manager, which brought me joy and happiness. I also thank Mr. Abdel Nabi.

“1st impression, the reception”

“Very good Location and Facilities, but Service and Food Fall Far Below 4-Star Standards”

The location of the hotel is very good, and the building, facilities, and overall infrastructure are also very good and well maintained. The rooms are fine, clean, and acceptable for a resort of this category. However, the overall guest experience does not reflect a true 4-star hotel, mainly due to serious issues in service quality and Food & Beverage operations. The staff require extensive training, particularly in professionalism, communication, and hospitality standards. During our stay, some staff members were speaking loudly and using unprofessional language in front of guests, including statements such as “If you don’t like to work, don’t work.” Even after drawing their attention to this behavior, no apology was offered, which is unacceptable. The restaurant experience was especially disappointing. The service team positioned on the right side of the kitchen (chefs’ area) showed very poor attitude and completely unprofessional responses to guests. Their behavior reflected a lack of training, accountability, and basic hospitality standards. The food quality is far below what is expected from a 4-star hotel. As a clear example, Om Ali was served using white sandwich bread, which is simply unacceptable at this level. Internet access is available only in the lobby, which is inconvenient for guests staying in rooms. To be fair, Mr. Sameh and Mr. Walid were the only positive exceptions in the restaurant, showing professionalism, respect, and a proper service mindset. It is important to clarify that this feedback is not against the hotel as a property. On the contrary, the rooms, cleanliness, facilities, and overall potential of the hotel are very good, and the front desk staff are professional and well-trained. Unfortunately, the poor service culture and weak Food & Beverage standards significantly undermine an otherwise good hotel.
