Our apartment was just great and included a private sauna and wood burner for a nice fire in the evening (a full stock of dry wood was available in a shelter). Kitchen equipment was excellent. “Perfect accommodation”
New cottages with all you need. The nearest town with shops is not too far away. You'll find a bigger town Jyväskylä close enough just to visit for one day. The same applies to Mänttä which is even closer and has excellent museums. I recommend to visit those.

We knew that Himos is popular during the winter season, but we didn't realise, that there was no services at all in summer.
