The Klaus K hotel is a truly cool experience! You can’t beat the location - it sits right in the centre city opp the park esplanade , surrounded by the some of their best shops and restaurants including the Stockman high end multi level store and Sokos the affordable store . The tram #1 stops right in front of the hotel which connects the city . A ten minute walk gets you to the covered Marketplace - a must visit for fresh local food . Stop by at the open market near the waterfront there to buy local fur , reindeer horn and souvenirs . I really loved my huge corner room that felt like a pvt apt ! I like minimalism and Finnish design elements so it was very much my kind of decor . With great large window views , even cloudy days felt perfect. The Italian restaurant serves a truly amazing menu and is very lively at night . The breakfast buffet is substantial with local specialties. The reception staff are a delightful lot ! Always helpful with a smile . There a nice little lounge area where you can have free coffees , have a chat and meet friends and a vending machine for small bites . Jukka-Pukka , Olga & Veronica at the reception were so efficient and warm . The one issue I had was that they do not clean rooms daily unless the guest makes this request at the front desk . Also they don’t have a proper gym and no sauna ! But one can go to the wellness centres a few blocks away .

This hotel is truly amazingly beautiful. From the moment you step inside, you feel a warm, cozy and intimate atmosphere that immediately sets it apart from larger chain hotels. It has that unmistakable charm of a high-end Parisian boutique hotel — refined, stylish and full of character. The location could not be better: set on one of Helsinki’s most beautiful streets, right opposite the Swedish Theatre, you are surrounded by culture, elegance and easy access to everything the city has to offer. What impressed me most is the level of service. You genuinely cannot find a better combination of high-end service and exceptional value in Helsinki. Every detail feels thoughtful, personal and focused on making the guest feel special. A truly wonderful stay — I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

good location with walking distance to central station, a tram stop in front of the building and a few steps to the Esplanadi ; great breakfast with many choices (unfortunately on weekends it starts quite late, at 8 am) and good Finnish coffee all day ; the staff is very friendly and helpful ; the single room was quiet and comfortable with good sleeping quality ; there are lot of amenities, and both safe, fridge and coffee maker in the room ; there is no cupboard, just some hangers and a small shelf - so basically no "storage" ; the shower cabin is a little unpractical: the bathroom is flooded when you take a shower ; you have to order cleaning - and even then it might not happen
