Definitely not 4 star (2/3 star) but perfectly adequate for a 7 night ski trip two adults and a 12 year old. Perfectly situated. We had to clean the room on arrival but didn’t bother us too much. At least we knew it was done properly. Free use of the indoor pool in the sister block (50m away). Much more up to date and cared for. The lock on our appt 918 was a real pain. Barrel kept spinning without locking. Managed to lock but took a good few mins each time. Wi-Fi seemed ok for us ans I know some have complained. All that said will definitely return next year. Reception is non existent (once checked in) but if you are self reliant it’s no problem. I understand all the poor reviews but for us it wasn’t a problem as we spend as little time as possible in the room. As said we will return so it can’t be that bad!

“Great location!”

Smack bang on the slopes, location is amazing especially if you face the slopes. Appartment is fairly good. Internet is a little rubbish... we have an 8 person appartment yet only 4 people can use the internet at the same time....

This residence has a very good location for skiers - when there is enough snow in the station, it is ski in-ski out place. In case there is not enough snow, you have it about 100m to the skilift. This residence has a very good location for skiers - when there is enough snow in the station, it is ski in-ski out place. In case there is not enough snow, you have it about 100m to the skilift. The residence has an official rating of 4 stars, it is definitely not. It is normal, family 3* residence. The furniture is older and used, a bit "worn out". Some wellness is missing as well, even if we got entrance to the pool in the station, the entrance is only for pool, so no sauna or whirlpool. Rooms were not 100% clean, there were dust on the bed frame, TV table.. Also attention, the "double" bed is only 140cm, which for two adults (we have both almost 190cm and we are not "super models") is not very comfortable. A good point about the residence is that rooms are pretty spacious and there is enough storage room. Wi-fi is better working on lower floors and closer to the "center" of the building. Rooms on extremities have difficulties. I would put 4/5 if it were officialy 3* residence, for that it would be pretty fair. For 4 stars it is missing a lot..

The location is hard to beat, rochebrune is smack bang on the slopes and you ski right in&out. But there are a few important influentual downsides. Appartments are not 4*. Old blankets on the beds (we were so happy to have brought our own duvets), limited kitchenware, dirty showercurtain and moldy bathroom. The appartments are not too clean which is not surprising with a 80euro checkout cleaning so guests tend to do the cleaning themselves in their last half hour before leaving. Everything is old, tired and in need of a big spring cleaning and some TLC. The elevators- mentioned by other guests- can really be a pain on checkin&out when you're on the 7th floor with all your luggage. Same with the saturday checkin around 4; there was a line waiting and only 2 staff members. You'd think they'd anticipate on the arrivals but think again.. The whole process took more than an hour, and 2 hours before we were installed upstairs. Final thing; the block is built so that you either have morning, or midday sun. And bear in mind that on the south end there's a bar on the lower floor so you're entertained all day long by their music on your balcony.
