This is probably the 4th time we have stayed here over the last 10 years. We come back for the great views. It now has pool that is great. You can rent velos next door to the right. This is probably the 4th time we have stayed here over the last 10 years. We come back for the great views. It now has pool that is great. You can rent velos next door to the right. Ask at desk for instructions. The rooms are small, and he paint on the outside is peeling. The breakfast is good., internet ok. The dinner menu is limited with mainly fish dishes. It would be nice if they added salads and chicken, etc. to the menu. Parking can be difficult at times, as they allow people from outside the hotel to dine for dinner and buy lounge chairs adjacent to the pool. If the lot is full they tell you to drive to Annecy and park there and walk back. On most days you can find a place to park.

what was supposed to be a stopover on the way to the holidays turned out to be a wonderful surprise ! beautiful location, beautiful view of the lake, quiet, very good breakfast, friendly staff...very nice jacuzzi and sauna

The emplacement is wonderful & there is parking on the premises. For the most part, the staff was good. My room was very clean & comfortable however the bed was 2 individual mattresses/beds pushed together which was not comfortable if you slept in the middle of the bed! I suggest they add one of those thin mattress pads on top. I had lunch & breakfast sur place; the lunch was delicious & beautifully presented. However, the breakfast, which I was told would be served until 9h30, was horrendous as was the service & restaurant staff. I arrived at 9h15 & the coffee machine had been turned off, cleaned & shut down. When I asked for coffee, the staff did not try to hide the fact that I was being very inconvenient. There were no scrambled eggs, the water was turned off to make hard/soft-boiled eggs, etc... The hotel did NOT give me or any of the other guests any warning or notification that there was renovation work going on at the hotel at the time of my booking or thereafter. The work was on my floor/level & started at 8h10 with what seemed to be drilling through concrete & the noise was constant until 9h30 & was then off & on all day until the early evening. I was not the only person complaining about the starting hour & noise level first thing in the morning. Emanuel who was on reception duty handled all of the complaints (there were a LOT) very professionally, was attentive & polite. Everyone was more upset that we were not informed in advance & I suggested that the hotel should at the very least put a sign up at the reception (which they still have not done to my knowledge). The hotel management was not overly enthusiastic about trying to make a commercial jest for their clients but those of us who insisted eventually were given 10% off ( I was not but I did not have to pay for my horrible breakfast, thank goodness)! However, I would still recommend the hotel & would book again but suggest you phone & ask if there is any noise or unexpected inconveniences that you should be aware of before confirming your reservation.
