I rate Hôtel d'Angleterre Grenoble Centre a “5”, not because it is a “great” hotel, but because it is very good - and a very good value for the dollar (Euro). “Comfrtable large room”
Comfortable large room overlooking Place Hugo, well located close to tram and city centre. Friendly helpful staff. It seems 3 floors are renovated and the remainder is in progress. Only downside is lack of fridge and coffee making equip.

“Very Good”
The location is perfecr as it is on central square and on tram lines. The staff were very friendly and helpful whilst the continental breakfast was very good both in quality and value. Rooms clean and simpe. A lovely stay

The hotel was used for one night stay and in that way quite ok. Staff is helpful, but the hotel seems to need a refresh of the rooms. “OLD”
in many French large cities there is a Hotel. d'Angleterre. They used to be a reference in the 50's 60's. the pb is that the one in Grenoble has not done much renovation since. So great location but looks really. OLD. Won't go again till a serious renovation.
