The apartment was as expected, functional and clean. We are no skiers so weren’t expecting to need to bring our own paper towel, hand soap etc. The kitchen equipment wasn’t great. Silicone utensils and chopping boards where grubby. We had a great view and the staff were welcoming.

We stayed 4 days in Les Chalets De Céline which is situated in Hauteluce 7km of Les Saisies and Morzine. The village and the area is very beautiful still having old village buildings and farmhouses. The new building are reasonable and nicely situated, something which you really cannot say on Les Saisies. Hauteluce has all basic services: small shop, 3 restaurants which you need because Les Chalets De Céline is self-catering place. Hauteluce is greatly situated if you want to have walks or cycling in mountains or do the climbing. In the Winter you have access to Hauteluce and Diamant ski areas. The village is situated in a beautiful valley having view to Mont Blanc at the other end of the valley Les Chalets De Céline is based on self-catering principle i.e. you need to pay to towels, final cleaning, even doing of beds (even though the bed and pillow sheets are included in the price). The hotel/apartment building has front desk which is open during office hours. The staff was very friendly and tried to help you. Les Chalets De Céline also has a pool which is included in the price. You need to pay extra for sauna. The rooms (studio with sleeping room for 4 was rather small, but had furnished kitchenette, bathroom and separate toilette. The furniture was modern and in quite a good condition. The cleaning was OK, but not spotlessly clean. The apartment has a large balcony with very beautiful view to valley and to Mont Blanc. The price is reasonable, but you need to be careful how much extra you want to pay. The extra services are rather expensive comparing to the apartment price. The location is great and the apartment provides basis to visit the valley and the region. In that perspective we can recommend the apartment.

“Self catering. Bring your own towels! Do not pay for beds to be made!”

We stayed here for 4 nights while skiing in Hauteluce/Les Saisies. It is absolutely fine self catering accommodation - we stayed in an "APPARTEMENT TYPE : 2 pièces 4 personnes" - but it could not take 4 adults - in the bedroom there is a double (4'6") bed - not huge for 2, & the other 'bed' is the sofa in the kitchen/living room. Luckily there were only 2 of us. We had paid in advance €55 for the beds to be made/room prepared in advance and cleaned up after - but on arrival were given sheets - the reception staff had not read the advance request. Just as well as €55 is a rip off for having someone else make the beds. I am awiting a refund of the money. The apartment was very clean. The TV had plenty of channels. The kitchen equipment was good. The staff in the Residence are very friendly and accommodating. If you want towels - you get a pack of towels for €6 - similarly for a pack containing some kitchen cleaning items. Each room has access to heated lockers for ski equipment at the hotel entrance. The pool looks fine but was full of children when we went to have a look at it so we beat a hasty retreat! So - it is what it says on the tin - basic clean self catering warm accommodation!
