“Extreme good value & location is faultless”
A stone's throw from the Hôtel de Ville, the hotel Furania's location is perfect, yet be aware that the rooms are fairly basic and small. At 54 euros a night, this is an absolute bargain, though. “Cntrally located budget hotel”
Just a few steps from Saint Etienne city center, Furania hotel offers friendly friendly staff and one of the best beds I have slept in. The room was worn and a bit tired, the electrical operated toilet was maybe the most user friendly, but if what you need is a place to sleep it's perfect :)

“Friendly, central hotel”
This is a good little hotel, about as central as you can get with pre-bookable parking (a must if you bring a car). The staff were friendly and the room was quiet with a decent bathroom and comfy bed. Pretty basic but everything you need. Lots of good little restaurants a short stroll away too.

“Very basic but good location.”
First, make sure you demand a room away from the street. It is very noisy on weekends at night, into the early hours, so a room out back is best. Very basic room. Like a motel. Cleaned well and staff very helpful. The tram from the train station takes you there (Hotel de Ville stop)
