This hotel combines the very best of a hotel and a high end chalet. Our room (one of the suites) was absolutely superb -- the best room we have had in 20 ski trips -- clean, modern, spacious and beatifully decorated. The location is superb, just across the road from the main chair lift, and super convenient for the ski rental next door. The staff could not have been better -- in particular they did an amazing job swinging into action at 6.00am to sort out an alterative airport transfer after a mix-up with our original booking, with both one of their junior team members and one of their senior managers taking personal charge to make sure an alternative was found (which took about 20 phone calls). A special mention too for the breakfast croissants, which were the best I have ever had. Overall, the hotel is a gem -- classy, clean and understated, with every comfort we could have asked for. We will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the unique, cozy atmosphere of this hotel. It has a lot of character and charm, and the location is excellent – right next to the gondola base station and just a short walk from many great restaurants in the village center. Our room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and a big plus was that no extra charge was applied for our child. The owner and the entire staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, which made the stay even more pleasant. The bar area looks fantastic and very inviting, although unfortunately it was closed during our stay due to the end of the season. The game room is quite outdated, but in a nostalgic and charming way (table tennis, old arcade machines, mini billiard). There are a few areas with room for improvement: the wellness area is somewhat limited – the pool is on the colder side, the sauna only opens in the afternoon, and the outdoor sauna, while cute, is not very warm. At one point in the afternoon, there were also no towels available. Another minor inconvenience is that there is only one elevator for a six-floor hotel, which can lead to waiting times when the hotel is busy. The garage is also quite old, but it somehow fits the overall character of the property. Overall, despite a few imperfections, this is a very charming hotel with a great atmosphere and outstanding location. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return.

Finally after many years visiting Les Gets with our family, we returned for a couples ski weekend staying at The Marmotte. Location, facilities and staff are 100%. The staff are helpful, quick and efficient. One of the quickest reception check ins we’ve experienced. Hotel decoration is beautiful and kept very clean. The only negative is that our superior slope view room was in need of upgrading and decoration especially the bathroom. The room itself is traditional with great, large corner balcony looking out over the slopes and good sized bedroom with large super king bed which was very comfortable. The bathroom is dated albeit very clean and plenty of hot water. Excellent large spa facilities with added outdoor sauna and hot tub with views of the slopes. La Bistkatcha and on slope restaurant La Paika are the best restaurants in Les Gets. We will return.
