“A quiet island just one remove from the bustle of the historic center.”
This is a lovely hotel, in a great location. Wonderful breakfast. My room had a stunning view of the park, the river and the citadel. And, there was easy access to the historic center just across the river. Visit the citadel which overlooks the city and contains museums and a zoological garden.

“Friendly, kind staff ”
The staff is just so friendly and lovely it’s a pleasure to stay there. It’s a basic Mercure, nicely located but have come back a few times now when I travel through the area because the staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful.

The location is lovely. The parc is quite pleasant and walking to the center of town is easy. The hotel seems not to have been renovated since the 1980's.
