“Good, basic room. Excellent breakfast”
This a well priced, basic hotel which allows you to stop for the night without leaving the motorway (and you can access it from both north and southbound). The staff are friendly and the breakfast, provided at the Paul bakery is excellent. Parking is safe in an enclosed area. As others have said… more

“Think about air con”
I would prefer to pay a bit more and have air con. Luckily I had booked as I arrived around 11pm and would not have got in without a booking. Good to have secure parking. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room was unbearably hot. Staff were helpful and sweet.

“Disappointing and over all poor facilities - struggling to stay afloat and it shows”
Accor/Ibis do not provide clear information on the (lack of) facilities at this services. It is claimed the restaurant remains open to 8pm. “La Poulet de Bresse”
Chosen on account of its location between London and Lucca. Although it was very reasonably priced, it was a little more basic than anticipated. The rooms had everything one needed but the plastic shower and loo took a little getting used to. They should provide two pillows per person.
