We stayed at Center Parcs for four nights last weekend as a group of two families (7 people in total) and rented an 8-person family cottage. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and created wonderful memories with family and friends. We would definitely come back. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by nature. Being in the middle of the forest created a peaceful atmosphere and made the whole experience feel special. The park itself is beautiful, very well maintained, and offers plenty of activities for children. The indoor facilities, especially the swimming pool and slides at Aqua Mundo, were a huge success with the kids and one of the highlights of our trip. The farm and outdoor playground ( free to visit) were fantastic and the kids spent a lot of time there. The also loved the pony ride ( pay activity). Most staff members were very kind and helpful, although we felt a few could have been friendlier. There are, however, some areas that could really improve the overall experience. We understand that certain items need to be brought from home or rented/bought on site, but some basic essentials should be included, especially considering the price. For example, there was no bath mat or floor towel outside the shower. This became a safety issue, as my son slipped when stepping out of the shower with wet feet. Luckily, I caught him before he hit his head. A simple non-slip mat should be standard in family accommodation. We also found it surprising that only two rolls of toilet paper were provided for seven people staying five days, and only three dishwasher tablets were included. These are inexpensive necessities that guests shouldn’t need to buy separately during their stay. Small details like this make the experience feel unnecessarily low-cost, despite Center Parcs not being a budget destination. Another point for improvement is the food offering inside Aqua Mundo. Since children are having so much fun swimming, it’s very difficult to convince them to leave, shower, get dried and dressed, and go eat elsewhere. The only option offered inside the Aqua Mundo was fast food so the first day we ate there, and unfortunately the quality was disappointing — even our children didn’t finish their burgers. Healthier food options, fresher meals, or allowing guests to bring food from home and eat it in designated areas would make a big difference. Despite these points, we genuinely loved our stay. The setting, activities, accommodation, and overall atmosphere were excellent. With a few improvements regarding basic cottage supplies and healthier food options at Aqua Mundo, the experience would be even better, 5 out of 5. Overall: a wonderful family holiday, and we will definitely return.

“Beautiful lodge and surroundings”

Absolutely stunning in terms of nature and relaxation. The only negative is that it wasn’t easy for us to get dairy free food. Our lodge had a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi bath. We hired an e-golf-buggy thing too and it was still cheaper than a UK stay

Not value for money. I have visited Centreparcs all over Europe and also Landal sites. This site is huge so when you have paid extra to be near the centre as you have elderley relatives and you are still half a mile away then its not good. Not value for money. I have visited Centreparcs all over Europe and also Landal sites. This site is huge so when you have paid extra to be near the centre as you have elderley relatives and you are still half a mile away then its not good. There was no nnternet for 24 hours , a broken bed and other maintenance issues. The site was sover run with electric buggys at 200 quid per week, the centre was usually empty as it was so hideously expensive, 8.50 euros for a beer. 14 euros for chicken nuggets from the not so Quick burger bar. The swumming ce tre was excellent if it wasnt over run with day visitors from.local towns. When you are paying a lot of money to stay there then it is not fair to pack the swimming pool with day visitors. I think this place would work better under new mangement, it was hugely expensive and I was dissapointed after travelling from the UK.

We had such high expectations but the park is very tired and unkempt and we were really disappointed. We accept that we visited during the August school holiday but the park was very busy, busier than any other CP we have ever visited. The Aqua Mundo couldn’t cope with the numbers of guests. There were long queues for rides and a shortage of inflatables for the slides. In comparison to other sites, the slides were also pretty disappointing for our children. The outdoor pool is not large enough. The landscaping around the rapids was abysmal, looks like they forgot to do it. The central forest was the best bit, especially for finding shade during the heatwave. Sadly this was our least favourite CP out of the English and European parks we have visited so far.

Comfort cottage was spacious and clean. Beds were a bit firm. Enjoyed seeing the deer in the forest from the sofa. Activities - Aqua Mundo was fun but not as good as some other parks. Aqua Speed was a lot of fun but be prepared for bruises! Laser Battle was hot and the 'arena' more suitable for s… more

Forest Lodge was lovely for a quiet drink.
