“Great central location”

Excellent little boutique hotel right in the centre of the city, perfect base for a good sight-seeing mission on foot. Great welcome from the staff, nice restaurant downstairs. A little noisy at night but isn't that why you're here?

this hotel is located in the city center close to the cathedral. there are also lots of restaurants and pubs around. the rooms are extremely small,but even though they don't lack anything.the bathrooms are nice.they have built-in hairdryers so you don't need to carry or borrow one.breakfast is available,but not included in the price.it's 8eur. the prices for rooms are ok if you're not coming during the week when the european parliament comes here for plenary sittings.the reception is not open 24/7 so if you arrive outside the business hours,you need a key/pin code to enter. checkout is until 12.00 so that's convenient.

“Great location, very accommodating staff, BUT......”

...make sure you book a room facing the rear of the building--the noise in the alley in front of the hotel is CONSTANT all night long between drunks, partying young people, garbage men, street people, etc. Since the master air conditioning unit had been cut off, the room register was not producing… more

...make sure you book a room facing the rear of the building--the noise in the alley in front of the hotel is CONSTANT all night long between drunks, partying young people, garbage men, street people, etc. Since the master air conditioning unit had been cut off, the room register was not producing anything (even just fan), so I had to open the window to keep the room below 90 degrees (F) even with the radiator off. Fortunately, the staff were able to move me to a higher, rear facing room for the second evening of my stay where I was able to get a full night's sleep. It's only a four story hotel, but trust me, even if it were twenty stories high, you'd still be bouncing off the walls from the noise!

Stayed here for 2 nights in July. Hotel is conveniently located in the city centre, 5 mins walking to the Notre Dame of Strasbourg, and about 10 minutes to Petit France. The street, with the same name as the hotel, is full with restaurants and terraces. Very nice ambiance in the evening. They provide underground parking close by for €18 per night, reserve in advance! The room itself was very outdated, small bed, only 1 plug to charge, the tap was too small for the sink we could barely wash our hands, showerhead cannot stay in place, and you still see the holes where the previous shower cabin was fixed on the wall. Most terrible was the noise, we slept on the 1st floor, with the sunny weather the terrace of the restaurant below was full both nights, with the stone hallway this was echoed throughout the building. Secondly there was a buzzing noise every 5 minutes that we couldn’t place. Staff was very friendly and helpful, we hope they renovate the rooms soon.
