After a long search of possible options of where to stay I found this hotel and all I can say is that I completely and highly recommend it. We were 3 and have had experiences with small rooms with very limited space but my surprise was amazing! The space was huge and had 3 individual beds well located, a huge locker to place our belongings, big bathroom with bathtub. BUT, the room had 2 small balconies :-) with a view to the Odeon theater, a total PLUS! The breakfast was the regular one but with very good taste and enough options to charge energy for a long day of touring. We really had a great time and the neighborhood is just perfect, you will be near the Sorbonne so the area is all students and alive! Luxemburg Gardens are just a few blocks away, the Phanteon, Notre Dame, Sainte Chapell and the Seine as well and if you have the opportunity, visit Rue Mouffetard, just beautiful. Our special thanks to Camilia how was always there for us during our breakfasts and made us felt like home and to Sene on reception always wanting to be sure we had a great time. I am coming back, no doubts. Thank you all, you are the best!!!

“Great Location, Wonderful Staff”

Spent three wonderful nights here in early November 2025. The location is as good as it gets, quiet street right next to Odeon theatre, Luxemburg Gardens and several Metro stops. The staff was wonderful and helpful in every way, and every small request we had was handled professional and with charm. This is a simple hotel, nothing fancy, but the room was clean and comfortable, nice breakfast, reliable wifi. We'll return.

“Enjoyed my stay”

Stayed here for five nights in October. The staff are friendly and helpful. The two ladies in the dining room at breakfast, one lady and one gentleman on reception especially. Stayed here for five nights in October. The staff are friendly and helpful. The two ladies in the dining room at breakfast, one lady and one gentleman on reception especially. The breakfast was really good - various choices. In a great area near the Luxembourg Gardens and the Odeon Metro Station is only a few minutes walk away. Also, the mainline station Luxembourg Gardens is not that far away for getting the train from and to CDG. My own problems were that the bed was too hard (personally choice, could be fine for others??) and the walls were too thin, could hear a man snoring in the next room one night.

I stayed at Grand Hotel des Balcons in Paris. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly, which I really appreciated. However, unfortunately the walls are paper-thin. Early in the morning, already after 9 a.m., the cleaners were shouting and talking loudly in the corridors, and the noise carried very clearly into the rooms. In my opinion, hotel staff should not be making that much noise. It was quite unpleasant. You can also hear other guests very easily — even normal conversations come through the walls, which is very disturbing and makes it difficult to sleep. The hotel would definitely benefit from better soundproofing. The breakfast was highly praised, but in my opinion it was only average. Otherwise, it is a basic, clean and pleasant hotel with a good price for solo travelers.
