“One night in Paris”

This was just a quick one night stay. So this was well placed near the Metro and the Gare St Lazare. I was surprised how quiet it was and the staff were polite and helpful.

Booked a double room for fours nights Sept 2025. We'll probably use it next time! Good: + The hotel is well located, close to the metro, quality supermarkets and coffee/restaurants, but in a quiet side street. A couple of boulangerie within 2 minutes walk. + small but clean room on 5th floor, comfortable, decent ensuite. + dining room which visitors can use with free coffee machine. We made our own simple breakfast and lunch snacks every day. This was also a great place to meet other visitors at the hotel. + access to kitchen with fridge, kettle, cutlery etc. + 24/7 reception manned by friendly staff Less good: - scaffolding outside our windows with tradesmen working during the daytime. Impossible to leave window open or blinds up during the daytime (e.g. to take a nap).

“Solid, no-frills 2-star hotel in great location”

Located close to trendy Montmartre district, just off Place de Clichy and 1-2min walk from the metro stop of the same name. 4-5 stops from Gare du Nord. Loads of shops and places to eat nearby at any time of day, with a smart organic food store underneath the hotel and a patisserie opposite the entrance. Rooms and bathroom are clean and solid. No trimmings like free water or coffee making facilities. Nice to have roller black out blinds. Room nice and dark. Bed was very comfortable. Small desk to work from if needed. Good wifi and lots of electrical sockets. AC was okay but cut out (in room 9 anyway) every couple of hours. Even at night. Not sure whether I would chance it in height of summer. Reception staff friendly and English-speaking. Free coffee machine near reception. For just 80 euros a night it more than did the job. No fuss or frills, but a solid place to return to after a day/night out in Paris.

The hotel staff are very friendly and our room was very clean with clean towels daily and beds tidied although we were surprised that the glasses were not replaced in 3 days. Many excellent cafes and restaurants within walking distance especially in the locality north west to the hotel. Take a walk up Rue des Batignolles for delightful bakeries and chocolate shops. We recommend the restaurant L,Endroit. However, a warning to light sleepers. The traffic noise is substantial. Noisy cars, motorbikes and police sirens meant one of us hardly slept at all in three nights. The room doors are noisy and the locking mechanism also noisier. Take ear plugs!

The hotel is well located, close to the metro, quality supermarkets and coffee/restaurants. The room was small but clean and the beds comfortable. What bothered us a lot was the shabby scaffolding that was by our windows and that there were tradesmen walking around, so we couldn't keep the windows open until late in the evening and not at night at all.
