Excellent Boutique Hotel In Paris. This is a unique boutique hotel in the Montmarte district of Paris. Make sure you have the address ready for your driver because it is on a one way street and easy to miss if you’re not familiar with the area. Hotel staff was extremely accommodating and helpful with taxis, tours, restaurants recommendations and anything else you may need. The room was quiet and cozy. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant and lounge. There is also a garden for eating in fine weather. This is a relaxed neighborhood where Parisians live and shop with easy access to the main blvd for the metro and buses. The hotel will also call you a taxi if needed. This hotel is not near any major tourist attractions so if you have limited time to see Paris it may not be for you. Walking exploring, and finding great hidden neighborhoods is the best location feature. I will definitely return.

We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Eldorado! The hotel feels like a hidden gem in the heart of Paris – charming, bohemian, and full of character. Our room was beautifully decorated with fabric-covered walls from House of Hackney, which gave it such a unique and cozy atmosphere.

My husband and I spent four nights staying in the Sapphire Suite at Hotel L'Eldorado. We were warmly greeted when we arrived, although the elevator was broken, so we had to climb five flights of stairs to get to the room. The room itself was very nice, with velvet wall coverings that matched the drapes and bedclothes. The bathroom included a sauna, although no one explained how to operate it and there were no printed instructions. The bathroom was separated from the water closet. I liked the fact that the bedroom could be separated from the sitting room, since my husband was taking a class on his computer on our first night. He was able to use the sitting room while I worked on my computer in the bedroom. I also liked the two balconies on either side of the suite. They were very nice. On one side, one can even see the top of the Eiffel Tower, which is about a four mile walk from the hotel. I didn't really enjoy dinner in the restaurant, but I did like our four breakfasts there. It was curious, though, that each morning, I had hot chocolate and each day the hot chocolate was prepared differently. I did enjoy it every day, but thought it was kind of strange that the product was different each time I ordered it. The elevator did get fixed during our visit, but broke once more during our stay. I suppose the exercise was good for me, though. One thing to know about this hotel is that it's next to a very busy bar that gets noisy at night until the wee hours of the morning. The windows are probably triple paned, so they cut out most, but not all of the noise. However, the neighborhoods around the hotel are charming and unique. The staff also took off 25 euros (one free breakfast) for the elevator inconvenience. That was much appreciated. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

The restaurant was located amidst a beautiful garden. Sadly we can’t say the same about the food. They were lukewarm and the fillet steak was more of a casserole or stew. Very disappointing for what it’s worth. Sorry.
