My friend and I stayed here for two nights in Paris. The location was great and the staff were lovely, even able to get us a reservation at Procope, the fancy restaurant next door the same day. The rooms were a little loud if someone was getting ready to depart with their luggage, but overall our stay was lovely. The room we shared was spacious for the two of us with all our luggage at the end of a two week trip.

We had such a wonderful experience here, we stayed for two weeks and loved everything about hotel, the staff and the area this hotel is in. The hotel had very comfortable bed, the bathroom looked newly renovated, and soundproof new windows which helped because of the restaurants and bars close by which were active late into the evening. Fanny the manager and the rest of the staff helped us with whatever we needed. It is a fairly busy area but that’s what we wanted, Odeon metro so close and shopping and cafes so close, right next to Le Procope also. We will be back!! Thanks you Fanny and Chris also, had a wonderful stay!

“Great hotel with one snag”

This is a lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location. Our deluxe room was very large with a huge, modern bathroom (was somewhat dark. An illuminated mirror would be great.). This is a lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location. Our deluxe room was very large with a huge, modern bathroom (was somewhat dark. An illuminated mirror would be great.). The buffet breakfast was very nice and a very reasonable 5 euros if you book the room directly. Super close to the Odeon metro station and close to all points. The staff was nice. In particular Lee who actually walked us to a restaurant the first night and brought us in to make sure we got a table. Extraordinary! Unfortunately a snag at check out left a bit of a bad taste. Upon check out, the front desk person (who was there most days) asked me for the key to the room safe. We had not taken a safe key; never used the safe. When I told him he started insisting in a rude fashion that I did have a key. We went back and forth and he presented me with a receipt that was not my name or signature. Someone had obviously put our room number incorrectly on the receipt. Finally he acted exasperated and said “it’s fine” as if he was going to let me get away with something. Very poor customer service and sadly last impressions stay in your mind. It was also somewhat humiliating as there were other guests in the lobby. Otherwise a lovely stay.

It is in a nice location, and the room was a good size. However, it was very, very dark, and kind of depressing. The room appeared to be clean, but there is a lot of heavy drapery everywhere, on windows and used as room dividers. If you have any sensitivity to dust, you might have some burning eyes, scratchy throat. Also, we tried the 5 Euro breakfast buffet on the first morning. We did not go back.
