“Great value for money”

Very good location near the tour eiffel aand very close to meteo Station Dupleix. Staff were friendly. Room is spacious. Bed is comfortable. Cleanliness is Ok. There is a Tv in the room. Price is reasonable for PARIS. If you’re going toParis and have a limited budget I recommand it

Stayed in room 8 at the top of the hotel. The room was accessed by a steep old worn out dark stair case. Stayed in room 8 at the top of the hotel. The room was accessed by a steep old worn out dark stair case. It took as much effort to get there as climbing the Eiffel Tower, there is no lift or help available to get up. The room had an electronic key card. Once inside the room was clean and modern with an en-suite shower and W.C. and basin. The shower was clean and worked well with nice hot water, no leaks. There were some small bars of soap left and three towels. It was a triple room with a window over looking the street below. There was quite a bit of the street noise from below until about 2am. There were no breakfast or dining facilities in the hotel, but there was the excellent late night Chicken 59 fast food opposite for evening meals. The bed was new comfortable and the sheets were clean but the pillows were too thin. The was no phone but the was a small flat screen T.V. on the wall with French television and BBC World Service News on. Outside there were a number of street traders milling around, but they did no bother us. There are a large number of Cafes and Takeaway restaurants on the way to Gare Du Nord train station. About a twenty minute walk away. Overall the only reason to stay there was the price and the easy location for the City Centre, although all the main attractions are at least a twenty minute walk away. The staff were O.K. but did not speak English well, also they close the hotel down at 3 A.M. even though they say it has a 24 hour reception. There was no air conditioning but leaving with the window open was enough. Out on the street there was a metro station on the corner, with Boulevard De Magenta leading to the main railway station one way and ile de citi the other way.
