“Comfortable stay GREAT location”

My family of 3 stayed at this hotel. It was very comfortable and the location is fantastic! It is surrounded by restaurants in a lively, cozy spot. The metro station is a block away making it incredibly convenient. I will stay here again.

We chose to stay at this property due to a recommendation from the Rick Steves guidebook, its location relative to local tourist sites and how convenient it is to the Metro system. Being from the US, it was nice to have all of the front desk staff that spoke fluent English. The property is located adjacent to a number of quality restaurants, shops, cafes and bakeries. The rooms/windows are well insulated which isolated out most of the street sounds. The beds are comfortable with extra pillows. I enjoyed having longer conversations with the staff in the evenings to learn more about the French culture and people. Everyone was friendly and willing to talk freely which was greatly appreciated. They were willing to help in any way that they could whether we were needing a piece of tape, a couple of forks or recommendations. One story that I would like to share is: we had some family members in our group that were not feeling well and I was looking for help to find a place that I could order take-out food from to simplify the dinner meal. Not only did they suggest a place they routinely work with, but after we chose our meal selections, they called and placed the order. When that fell through because of difficulties the restaurant has historically had because of many orders that weren't picked up, the hotel staff member accompanied me to the restaurant and helped get the order initiated and did not leave me hanging. Furthermore, the restaurant sat me at a table in the bar, gave me a complimentary appetizer and water, then expedited the order and sent me off with a couple of their steak knives to make the meal easier. Who does all of that? Great experience during a bad time. I would definitely stay here again.

Super friendly staff, clean room, let us do late checkout no problems. Great part of town, easy to walk or take the metro places.

This hotel is a solid, good-value option in a great location. It’s clean and fairly basic, but well-maintained, and the staff really stood out—both the front desk team and the breakfast server were genuinely kind and helpful, which made the stay more enjoyable. The breakfast offered a decent selection, though it’s served in a basement room without windows, so the atmosphere is a bit limited. The room itself was comfortable enough-we paid extra for a large room. The mattress was quite firm, which may not suit everyone. There was also a minor issue with the shower leaking slightly onto the bathroom floor, and the street noise can be noticeable at times given the lively neighborhood. That said, you’re surrounded by plenty of restaurants and activity, and for the price, it delivers good overall value. This isn’t a luxury experience, but if you’re looking for a clean, well-located place with friendly service at a fair price, it’s a very reasonable choice.
