What a wonderful secret in Paris. Staff and the meal was top notch. Chickens and rabbits run free and location is fantastic!

It was so delicious and professional and elegant. The restaurant is just a super elegant place to eat and I love the small bar. It's just something like out of an old movie. And then later, you can go downstairs to the speakeasy and have a drink and it's really fun and people from outside come there.

Unfortunately, this stay was a disappointment given the price and the luxury experience the hotel claims to offer. From the outset, the experience felt disorganised. After passing the security gate, we were left waiting outside as there was no one to let us into the hotel. With both a security gate and a locked front door, this felt unnecessary and awkward, especially as staff clearly knew someone was arriving since we were eventually buzzed in. Check-in was far from smooth. Despite arriving well after the stated room ready time, staff still needed to check the room and locate the key. Instead of a seamless welcome, we were seated at the bar near the entrance and asked to wait. When we requested water, it took longer than expected as staff continued with other tasks, which did not reflect a high-end service standard. The room itself was very beautiful, though it initially had a damp smell, which improved after opening the windows. Later, loud music became an issue. At first, I thought the sound was coming from speakers in the room, but after calling reception on a phone with very poor sound quality, it became clear the music was coming from the room opposite. Although staff asked them to turn it down, the music was turned back up later. It continued until midnight on a Sunday night, which was disappointing and should have been better managed by the hotel. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was quiet in the morning, which was appreciated. However, service issues continued. When asking a staff member for a breakfast recommendation nearby, she could only suggest eating in the hotel, which was unhelpful. Later that same day, the same staff member did not recognise me and questioned why I was there, despite the hotel having only five rooms and me staying more than one night. Overall, while the hotel is well located, clean, and comfortable, the lack of professionalism and attention to detail significantly detracts from the experience. For the price paid, I expected a far higher level of service, along with thoughtful touches such as complimentary snacks in the room.
