“A very royal visit to Versailles.”
We picked this hotel because of its proximity to The Versailles Palace, and found it not only 15 minutes walkable, but that the hotel was nicely located to restaurants and train transportation to/from Paris. Absolutely great hotel! We stayed for one night and were lucky enough to get a parking spot, there are only around 10. The staff were super helpful and spoke great English. Des Lys was a very nice and pleasant stay. Within walking distance of the Palace and many cafes and restaurants. Very quiet and clean. We had an issue regarding room size and that was addressed. Came here for three nights during a work conference. Decent breakfast, with fresh orange juice, pancakes, fruit, bread, coffee machine etc. Very clean rooms. Thin walls though, and thin pillows!
