Location: This city hotel lies just a few metres from the Place du Vieux Marché where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake on 30th May 1431. “Night's Stay in centre of Rouen old town”
This the third time we have stayed at Hotel Litteraire on our annual drive from Toulouse to London. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good indeed. The location is only a two minute walk to the historic central square where there are many restaurants. Perfect!

“Best location in Rouen!”
Great hotel - terrific location! We could walk everywhere. We had a car. They have a garage (free) but you have to take your car down the car elevator. A big car will not fit. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

“Very comfortable stay in old Rouen”
The hotel is very comfortable and eco-sensitive with a helpful staff. Within walking distance of all the interesting sites of the old town. We enjoyed our stay of 3 nights.

“Its ok and centrally located”
The parking can be hard to navigate and dont even think about sending someone into the hotel to help with directions as the mail receptionist is EXCEPTIONALLY rude. The rooms are very small but nicely decorated and very clean. In a good central location

“Ok but not outstanding”
The location of the hotel is the best. In the old part of the city and just around the corner of the Place de vieux Marche. The room we had, standard room, is small. Not enough space for two big suitcases. As long as you not open the window, its quiet. Breakfast is ok. Best to have breakfast at aro… more
