“Traveled all over the World - Most Charming Hotel I've ever Stayed at”
This Bastide and Hotel oozes charm. The views of the Dordogne River Valley are to die for and the staff was incredible attentive. Our room had a magnificent view of the river from the 3rd floor. “Enjoyable stay, helpful staff”
Excellent 4-night stay at l'Esplanade. We were given a choice of spacious and comfortable rooms and enjoyed the one we picked. Delicious breakfasts, beautifully presented. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and graciously accommodated our needs. Highly recommend!

“Stunning views”
Such a charming old school hotel with stunning views over the Dordogne valley. Things a little old fashioned, but comfortable and that's part of the charm. The team is lovely, and dinner at the restaurant was worth the splurge. We look forward to coming back.

“Wonderful location”
Drinks and breakfast on the Veranda. Great views. Note restaurant closed Monday and Tuesday. Great alternative recommended and booked for us.

“Bof, so so”
Place and view fantastic; good food in general, prohibitive wine prices ; service focussed mainly on efficiency : super fast but absence of consideration from the waiter : conversation limited to very few standard sentences, looking elsewhere when you are testing the wine for comments, etc..
