“A real gem”
A gem of a hotel - everything was perfect from the moment we arrived to find we had a named reserved parking place. The staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. The hotel decor is gracious and tasteful and our bedroom was beautifully appointed.

“Excellent hotel in central Pau”
The hotel is a lovely older building that has been refurbished. Our room, bed, linen and shower were all excellent. There was some noise from the street but that quieted down after 10 PM. The reception was helpful. Our room had a kettle, which is still uncommon in France.

We decided to eat in the hotel one evening. The food was excellent, including the presentation. Definitely to try if you are looking for something different.
