“Mercure Poitiers Centre Hotel”
The hotel is centrally located with the Palace of the Dukes of Aquitaine literally around the corner, the Notre Dame 5 minutes away, and the Hotel de Ville within walking distance. “Brilliant”
Absolutely brilliant. One of the best hotels we have used. The main building is a converted church, with bedromms in a modern wing. If rich, some bedrooms are in the chapel loft! Totally clean. “Nice hotel with a couple of caveats”
Great hotel and restaurant. Parking isn’t hard but you just have to be aware that you are in a parking garage. The only downside was that we had to drag our bags up steps to get to reception. We only found out later that there as a ramp by the restaurant. The young lady at reception did not tel… more

“Room a disappointment, unfortunately”
The hotel was tastefully converted but the room was very cold and we couldn't change the setting on the thermostat. Because of the contours of the room the bed was raised on a fairly high wooden platform, not easy to negotiate. Staff were efficient.
