We had a lovely week on this site. We booked a eurocamp caravan and it certainly exceeded our expectations. A beautiful 3 bed, air-conditioned, and very comfortable accommodation. It even had soft outside seating and a dishwasher. All for an amazing price. The eurocamp reps ,Jim and Viv, made us very welcome and were extremely helpful. The accomadion was spotlessly clean on arrival. The location was very close to the amenities. The swimming pools were very good and so was the restuarant and bar. Although attention is needed around the swimming pool area. It was quite rough under foot ,yet shoe's aren't allowed. There was a small shop onsite and fresh bread can be ordered at night time for the following day. There is a quaint small village a .mile away,with a chateau . I would definitely go to this site again. Its the 3rd site in the area that we have visited and this was our favourite. A fabulous for all age groups.

“Excellent run site, just FABULOUS!”

What an exceptionally well run campsite, whoever does the staff training knows about hospitality. We booked a pitch with its own bathroom, and mini kitchen, Dometic gas grill and bbq was a surprise bonus, brand new and squeaky clean! What an exceptionally well run campsite, whoever does the staff training knows about hospitality. We booked a pitch with its own bathroom, and mini kitchen, Dometic gas grill and bbq was a surprise bonus, brand new and squeaky clean! We have travelled a lot with our caravan, and have seen all sorts, this campsite is now in our top 3 sites! The Director Raphaël did the rounds regularly visiting the restaurant asking if all was ok, nice touch. The food was excellent, small menu but a good one, delicious, serve red with a smile, honestly we felt they could not be more helpful, which today is very refreshing. A BIG thank you to reception for being so very kind when our elderly springer had an accident in reception, I was mortified, but they were so kind and sweet. St Genis is a delight little market Sunday morning, fabulous baker, butcher and a little Proxi, very very pretty, there is a shortcut from the campsite making it a super easy walk. We loved it so much we went onto book their site in I’ll de Re, we never book anything, but have loved having our own bathroom etc on our pitch! So a BIG shout out for Raphaël and his team, thanks for a great stay, only downside was wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be back! Pools looked glorious!

“Delightful site for families”

We travelled with Eurocamp, having previously booked a different site, and then changing to this one. It would be hard to be more pleased about our choice. The site currently only hosts Premium grade mobile homes for Eurocamp, and these are well-located very close to the main amenities, but slightly down a hill and with a building between them and the main entertainment areas, meaning easy access without much noise disturbance. The couple managing the site were welcoming, and checked in on us. All the mobiles are currently new, so in great condition, and with a good layout (notably including a larger bathroom than we've been used to... if somewhat limited standing space around the bed in the double room!) The site is generally peaceful, and while the mobiles are slightly closer together than we've seen at some other sites, we certainly didn't feel particularly overlooked. The whole site is very well maintained (we saw someone cleaning the main refuse bins!) and with good facilities. We (with our two children of 3 & 5) made use of the pétanque boules, mini golf, football area and playpark (all freely available), as well as all the pools. The toddlers splash pool was perfect for them, with a small slide and clown spray, and even on the hottest days in late August, we had no trouble getting a sunbed. In fact, everything feels as though it could cater for more guests than there are, despite them being full in the height of summer. As other reviews have mentioned, there are some surfaces near the pool area which are uncomfortable underfoot (akin to a pebbly beach), but the main terraces around the pools and sunbeds are paved - it's mostly the to-and-fro for the slides where you've got to be ready for tread nimbly. The focus definitely remains on native guests, so all entertainment, etc. was exclusively in French. We mostly took ours along to the mini discos. There's also a small games room (air hockey, table football and a couple of other games), which is probably one of the more tired parts of the site. The on-site snack bar offered very quick service all afternoon and evening. Perhaps the only shortcoming overall was the very limited shop on site - it really does just have a handful of things available, and if you want bread/croissants/pain au chocolat, these all need to be pre-ordered the night before - an easy enough system of just jotting your name on a list at the bar, but also easy enough to forget to do. Supermarkets in nearby Sarlat are large, the nearer Intermarché in Salignac-Eyvigues is much more limited (and dingy!) Would definitely recommend.

Lovely site, clean, fun and peaceful. Nice staff and teenager room excellent for them. Swimming pools nice, however not enough sunbeds and there were 2 separate incidents, one when a child had a toilet accident and then another sick accident in pool. All that was done was some more chlorine was ad… more

Swimming pools nice, however not enough sunbeds and there were 2 separate incidents, one when a child had a toilet accident and then another sick accident in pool. All that was done was some more chlorine was added, and that is not the proper way to clean it 🤮 needless to say a few ear infections occurred 😔 Bins are all the way at the entrance/exit of site, so a long walk for some of us.
