“Very pleasant stay.”
We had to stay near Perigueux for one week and wanted a hotel slightly out of town and the swimming pool was a big attraction. We needed two rooms and wanted accommodation which was well priced. “Busy hotel, needs constant refurb”
Clearly well used by sports people in the area. The room carpets need cleaning as many areas are stained. Let me start by saying that the staff were lovely. Can you feel the 'but' coming? The room was dark and cheaply done. The bathroom was clean and modern with a powerful shower. We found the location good for Perigeux and the area. The first room we had did not have working air-conditioning and the mechanic could only come after we were due to leave. We were moved to another room. This was smaller and then hanging space did not exist at it had come off the wall! Shame rea… more
