“Pleasant place to stay”

I came to Hotel de Paris with a big group counts more than 70 people. The most advantage of this hotel is location, just one minute from Sanctuary. The second is really helpful and kind staff. I came to Hotel de Paris with a big group counts more than 70 people. The most advantage of this hotel is location, just one minute from Sanctuary. The second is really helpful and kind staff. The third is price/quality ratio. The hotel equipment is not the newest. Food was good, especially dinners were served as a big and tasty portion. More vegetables at the breakfast would be nice. Location, staff, tasty dinners and ratio made this hotel as truly recommended.

“A pleasant stay”

We stayed 2 nights in Lourdes during our vacation at the Hotel de Paris. It is about a 5 minute walk to the Sanctuaire de Notre-Dame de La Salette. We stayed 2 nights in Lourdes during our vacation at the Hotel de Paris. It is about a 5 minute walk to the Sanctuaire de Notre-Dame de La Salette. We requested a room that had a shower and was not on facing the main street. The room they gave us was on the 8th floor on the back side of the building and had a large bedroom and spacious bathroom. The shower was designed for wheelchair access. Our nightly rate was 54 Euros / night. If we had added the continental breakfast it would have jumped to 80 Euros. For convenience we had the breakfast 1 of our 2 days - it was okay. The room was cleaned daily and the staff responded to any requests that we made. The train station is about 1.5 kilometers from the hotel - we took bus 5S. It was inexpensive and runs about every 15 minutes during peak times. Lourdes is very commercialized due to St. Bernadette - this one does not have a shop associated with it like a number of the other hotels in Lourdes do. If we return to Lourdes, we would stay there again.

“Very Small Room”

We booked this hotel due to it's proximity to the sanctuary, which we later found out most of the hotels are just around 2-5 minutes walk to the sanctuary anyway. We booked this hotel due to it's proximity to the sanctuary, which we later found out most of the hotels are just around 2-5 minutes walk to the sanctuary anyway. When we arrived at the hotel, the reception was on the phone and doesn't seem to bother that a guest had arrived, anyhow, her colleague from the bar went to the reception area and checked us in after 5 minutes of waiting. We were given the room at the 2nd floor, we thought we will be getting a double bed and a single bed since we are a couple with an 8 yr old boy with us, but to our surprise, we were given a room which is so small with 3 single beds, upon entry to the room, we need to take turns (two person can't fit in together after entering the door), the toilet is separate (without exhaust fan) which is really pleasant after one uses it. The only reason why I give 3 stars is because of its proximity to the sanctuary and shops nearby, which is literally just outside the hotel. We took the breakfast package and we ended up paying 80 EUR, to which for us is a bit expensive. The next time we will be around Lourdes, we will not stay here anymore and will try somewhere else.
