We are just back having had a fantastic week 3 Adults 1 teenager and 3 kids 6-10, the accommodation booked through Eurocamp was great (could do with a toaster though) but the oven has a grill, the Eurocamp reps John and Suzanne were very helpful and occasionally popped round to see if everything was ok, the site is very well laid out, small and safe with a playpark the kids liked, minigolf, petanque and tennis courts. The pool area was fantastic with 3 pools, main pool with slide, kiddies pool and covered pool, plenty of sunbeds (and you cant book them with towels, when you leave the area for lunch or anything else you need to take everything with you) There is a small cantina for snacks and a main restaurant for evening meals if you wish. if you want to explore outside, there is the canal du midi at the front door or hire a car to go further afield, especially if you want to shop at a larger supermarket either intermarche or Lidl. You can also hire bicycles nearby. All in all fantastic for families and I would not hesitate to book again.

Stayed at L'Air Marin in June 2019. We had a great time. Our Kids range from 15-4 and all had a great time at the campsite with plenty to do. Travelling from Ireland, a car is essential travelling to / from Montpellier airport. It also came in handy when shopping in Vias. We visited Vias town centre on a couple of occasions and found it lovely. Some noise at night from neighboring campsite but it didn't affect us to much. Overall we really enjoyed the campsite and would recommend it for families of all sizes. Our Euro-camp reps John and Suzanne were fantastic. Listen to their advice as we found it very helpful.

“Great family site”

We have just returned from L'Air Marin and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our first camping holiday in France with two pre-school age children, and the site was perfect for us, being small, quiet and tree-covered, offering shade in the sweltering temperatures. The children's play area was great, and we found the cafe and shop amenities to be fine. With small children who aren't that interested in day tripping, we didn't hire a car and found we could manage very well shopping in the local town (Vias), around a km away, fine if you don't mind a walk. Two beaches are also accessible, one from the back of the site (although not great with a buggy due to the sandy pathway). We did go to Beziers by train one day: be aware that the train station is not that easily accessible on foot, especially with a buggy, due to road works (admittedly probably temporary). The high point for our family was the pool complex, which the children loved, especially the covered pool which is ideal for learner swimmers being warm and easy to climb in/out of. They gained hugely in confidence while there. We haven't been to other sites so can't compare, but for us it was great. Overall, the site is very well run and maintained with a lovely atmosphere, helped in part by the fact that many residents are long-term renters who take pride in their plots. A special mention to the reception staff who were so helpful and efficient, in particular the lady who made an announcement over the intercom having retrieved my daughter's lost comforter (I speak french but they also speak excellent english in reception and also in the cafe). We would love to come back - the only small negative was a bit of weekend evening noise from La Carabasse, the adjacent campsite.

“Soooooooo loud!”

This is the loudest campsite I have ever stayed on. Evening entertainment pumping out music til midnight EVERY night. It's soooo loud! Like being in a festival. I did read there was entertainment but EVERY night at this volume is unbearable really. I work in the music industry and love a good party… more

This is the loudest campsite I have ever stayed on. Evening entertainment pumping out music til midnight EVERY night. It's soooo loud! Like being in a festival. I did read there was entertainment but EVERY night at this volume is unbearable really. I work in the music industry and love a good party, but wow this is next level. I guess if that's what you want, all good... I was looking for a little more peace and relaxation. Everything else about the site is fine. Nice people.
