Had an excellent stay at Hotel George! Room was very spacious for European standards, very clean and was in a great location. They have afternoon snacks in the lobby which we made the most of, and had a decent selection of breakfast too. Free minibar which is topped up daily as well as a lobby fridge & coffee machine, The male staff remember who checked us in and was there during the day was excellent & really helpful and informative. Would highly recommend!!

One of the most outstanding 3-star hotels imaginable in Paris or anywhere else. Scrupulously clean. In-room personal safe for valuables. Quiet rooms face the courtyard. Cordial friendly service from professional employees. The room mini-bar holds *free* beverages. The breakfast employee was very conscientious, efficient, and friendly. Breakfast includes cucumbers, tomatoes, hard boiled and scrambled eggs, cheeses, pork, turkey, yogurt, fruit salad, etc. The free self-service snack bar, open from 2:00 pm to past midnight , includes peanuts, pretzels, small pastries, cold and hot beverages, and access to a microwave. Guests of any property in the Astotel chain are allowed to partake at the snack bars in other Astotel properties around Paris, and also perhaps a fitness center in one of them. Excellent air conditioning was most welcome, as it was crucial during the heat wave. It’s on a street with restaurants, grocery stores, many choices of types of cuisine. It’s in the theatre district, which means some local restaurants stay open quite late to accommodate spectators after performances. We love this place. One suggestion: for safety, put at least one grab bar in the shower and a rubber mat.

“Amazing experience for a family visit”

Amazing hotel very close to metro station, great service and courteous staff. Rooms were very neat and clean. Plenty of complementary snacks at the bar. Will Visit again next time for sure

It depends on a person’s tastes and preferences, but for a person like me who loves the energy of the Parisian people and their invaluable contributions in art, poetry, and philosophy, etc. and who wishes to join them in pursuit of Le Bonheur — in brief —I found my hotel. The hotel has assembled the coolest, nicest, most helpful and professional staff one could ever hope to encounter. Shout out to Sonia, Paul, Winston, and to Cee Cee who makes up the rooms. The rooms are well appointed: a safe, an excellent television, a little refrigerator stocked with cold water, and drinks, a comfortable bed, reading lights positioned at the head of the bed, a good shower, very good adjustable air conditioning, tall casement windows that open on to the animated streets below, and which when closed are virtually soundproof. It isn’t meant to be luxurious but practical & well considered, and eco-conscious . Situated near Rue du Martyrs, and close to the Metro to everywhere. From the hotel it is just a short hike uphill to Montmartre & Sacré Coeur. Everywhere you turn: cafes, bistros, farm-to-table markets. I could also feel the intangible presence of the great artists who the quartier inspired & nourished. I seemed to sense the soul of the workers who built this city over the centuries. As I said, it is a matter of one’s preferences, if you are the type of person who only travels in first class, or who expects to be pampered, you might find the hotel on the casual side, but for me, laid back and appreciative of any service rendered, the Hotel George, where I have so far had the pleasure of staying three times, checks all the boxes.
