Stayed for one night on a recent visit to Paris. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We had a ‘courtyard view’, so no street noise. There was some building/renovation work going on nearby that started up around 8.30 in the morning (week day). Location is good for metro stations, shopping, wide range of restaurants, etc. Only downside was the aircon seemed was very noisy at times, like something mechanical was coming apart. But it functioned. We had breakfast included in the room. Average buffet style.

This was my first visit to Paris and the Marriott Opera Ambassador truly made my first visit even more enjoyable. The staff were professional and accommodating. After a red eye oversees flight, I was impressed that they were able to locate a room for early check in - I was totally taken back by their efforts. The neighbourhood is charming and very clean. You are only 2 blocks from the metro station and a 5 minute walk to the Galerie Lafayatte (for a wonderful shopping experience). You are also only a 5 minute walk to the Opera where you can take the Roissy-Bus to CDG. Very efficient, clean and well prices at $16Euros. I took the bus both ways and each trip was approx. 45-60mins. The hotel is completely renovated and well appointed. I found my room to be very spacious. Bed and pillows were typical Marriott - very comfortable. Overall my room was extremely quiet even though I was on the first floor and beside the elevators. My stay also included access to the Club Lounge on the 8th floor. One of my very best Marriott Lounge experiences. Outstanding service by the staff. Room was nicely laid out, with great views and lots of seating. Breakfast provided great selections (hot and cold) and was very hearty and provided a great start to my day. Evening snacks and selections were just as good and well presented. This also included Heineken on tap and red or white local wines. There was a large selection of teas, coffees, soft drinks and juices. My compliments to the lounge staff and culinary team for a great experience. The lobby bar was a relaxing place to enjoy a glass of champagne before heading out for the evening. Lots of comfortable seating. I walked everywhere and found the hotel location to be fairly central to getting to the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Jardins des Tuileries, Place de Concorde, Notre Dame, etc. Lots of restaurants - including fast food and coffee shops located all around the hotel. Thank you to the Marriott Opera Ambassador staff for a great stay. I wish it was longer. I will be back for sure.

We enjoyed our stay here. It is within walking distance of the Gare St. Lazare. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around the hotel. We felt safe in this area. Our room and amenities were very comfortable. The executive lounge had a view of the Eiffel Tower( via small windows but still lovely!) Roberto( from the Philippines) in the executive lounge, is a true delight. He is happy to share recommendations and is very customer focused! Kudos to him!

“Wonderful homebase for our 6 days in Paris”

We stayed at the Paris Marriott Opera Ambassador during our family trip to Paris in late April. The location is top notch, plenty around to eat, drink, shop etc. We traveled as a family of 3; Mom, Dad and an almost 9 year old. This was one of the only Marriott properties that let us book a room that could hold triple occupancy (King bed + rollaway) on points, a major plus. The front desk was always helpful and kind and while we did not talk to the concierge much the two times we did they gave us good advice and service with a smile. The bar made a nice cocktail and if you get access to the lounge on the 8th floor it is a win. The breakfast is a good start to the day, knowing we always stopped at a boulangerie in the morning for a "real breakfast" and the end of day nibbles were nice. The best part was the view! A really nice glimpse at the Eiffel Tower. A few notes: - The hotel always smelled lovely (there are automatic spritzers) - The issues with the hot water seem to be resolved, we never had an issue - While the hotel is 4 star, it doesn't feel high end in some ways - the towels are small and scratchy, there are no specialty products in the rooms and while things were clean an attention to detail was not always met - things in our room were dusty and a lot of the usb plugs did not function - My husband is Platinum and they honored the late check-out (4pm), but we were not able to check in early and were not given an upgrade. Not a complaint just a note as we normally at least get a high floor room (we were on the first floor) and a view (we had a street view when I know the Courtyard view would have been nicer). Also, no welcome amenity in the room, but we were given 2 glasses of nice champagne via a voucher. This point is so others with status can have an idea what to expect, again not a complaint - we know all the upgrades are at the discretion of the hotel. - Construction of a nearby building starts at 8:30am and is loud, don't expect to sleep in... it is Paris though get up and explore! - Our room lost power a few times (seemed to be isolated to our room) and we weren't charging anything but our phones. It was not ideal as stuff in the fridge went bad and the room was very stuffy when we returned. THANK YOU to the hotel, it was the perfect homebase for our vacation! We would happily return again and would recommend it to others.
