Our apartment was spotless, warm and had a sunny balcony from mid afternoon… we had two double rooms, and two bathrooms - one with a bath and another with a shower . The kitchen facilities were good - large fridge - and a microwave plus four hobs - perfect for our requirements (plus a coffee machine, which was slightly baffling only because we had never used a Tassimo Bosch before ..) The hotel offered a pool, steam room and jacuzzi as part of the stay - but we found this to be very busy (everyone hitting it after the slopes) so we headed to the private spa and paid the extra €12 per person (worth it in our opinion) as we had use of jacuzzi and hammam room, largely to ourselves .. great way to finish after a day on the slopes. The access to the slopes was excellent- the ski boot room (which was also warm) opened out straight onto a button lift, which we were able to go up and then immediately ski the short distance (short easy green) to a gondola lift … The apartment was within short walking distance to shops, restaurants and bakery - and both ski areas . I will definitely be returning - every aspect - from ski in /ski out, proximity to shops etc, cleanliness, warmth, ski storage, hit the mark…. I’m aware previous reviews have been negative - so we were slightly anxious - but we were pleasantly surprised - and thoroughly enjoyed our stay . A real find . Happy days !

Stayed at MMV here in Montgenevre for a week while skiing. I was a little undecided before my arrival due to some poor reviews but tbh we had a very nice stay. We had a 0ne bedroom apartment with a double bed and a pull out bed in the living room but as there was only the two of us it wasnt required. We had booked a parking space as we had driven the 90minutes from Turin airport. An easy drive mainly motorway before a 15/20 minute climb into the mountains to Montgenevre. No snow chains required despite a lot of snow as the roads were cleared, we did have some in our hire car though just in case. On arrival checkin was easy and straight forward. I had heard of a charge of £50 for an early check in but even though we were there by 2pm, check in 5pm, we were allowed straight to our room. Room 2 ground floor overlooking the slopes was a fantastic view. facilities in the room were good cutlery, kettle, toaster, cooker and full fridge, dishwasher. TBH I think it could do with a micro wave to top it off but we only ate in a couple of times and that was an already cooked chicken (£20 from local rotisserie) and a steak one night. Towels and clean sheets provided and one toilet roll. Need hand soap for bathroom and extra toilet rolls during your stay. I would suggest a tea towel or two for dishes, we didn't use enough to bother with dishwasher. there is a small supermarket just next door and a slighty bigger Spar in the village a 10 minute walk away. Hired skis, provided by ski shop next door, and picked them up the night before our hire day to save on time. You get a lockable ski locker in the basement which can fit 4 sets of ski stuff with boot driers in. there is bar on site, never visited seemed to be full of families with kids so not for us. there is an outdoor pool which is free to use and in the same area a sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. All free to use but just check opening hours as they vary. Nice to use after a days skiing. reception isn't open all the time but in the morning and then from 230pm until maybe 7 I think but would check. Only slight issue we had is it could be cold in the room and couldn't quite work out when the heating was due to come on, centrally controlled. It didn't appear that all of the heaters worked but it wasn't really an issue for us. just put a jumper on. We had lessons every day at 0915hrs with ESF, meeting point is in the village by the balloons. Easy to find but a 15 minute walk in ski boots from MMV. Fortunately there is a bus which runs every 30mins into the village so we got the 9am one which was ideal. you could ski down but it means taking a run to another lift up the mountain and then down again. The runs are Blue then red/ blue but takes a bit more time. You can ski in/out without a problem once you get your bearings. I have reviewed some of the places we ate at in other entries if you wish to read them. The skiing in the area is so expansive and something for all levels as part of the Milky Way. One fine day we went form Montgenevre over the border into Italy and back without going down the same run twice using Reds and Blues all the way. Skiing for over 2hrs continuous great but hard work. If you want lots of skiing without the Apres this place is ideal it is not party central. It gets busy of a weekend with all the locals coming up for the day so Saturday and Sunday is busy on the lifts be prepared to wait and check school holidays both French and Italian. Staff on reception were nice and friendly an helpful although we didn't require much. Overall I would return and stay here again if we returned to Montgenevre it was a good stay.

On the up-side of this property the rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the showers hot. The pool, sauna and steam room were all good. The apartment was, to say the least, old and very basic and in need of some maintenance. We were in an apartment suitable (supposedly) to sleep six. One double bed in one room, two singles in another and a sofa bed in the lounge. It would be fair to say that even with four people it would be quite cramped, the bedrooms were tiny with less than 0.5m between the walls and the beds in some places. The heating was generally okay (it was automatically controlled by movement and temperature sensors) and there was also a log-effect electric fire in the lounge, however, this seemed to be only for decoration as it looked like the controls for it to heat anything had been removed. The apartment was somewhat short of supplies considering the amount of money which this rental cost us. Apart from towels, bath mats and one roll of toilet paper to last a whole week there was nothing else (no soap, shower gel, coffee sachets, etc.). As the reception was frequently closed we had to buy our own supplies of toilet rolls. One of the worst aspects of this property is the lift (elevator), during our stay it frequently either stopped higher or lower than floor it arrived at creating a step (as much as 50-60mm sometimes), needless to say that this could be a serious danger to personal safety to anyone who did not notice this trip hazard. Another serious safety issue was the wicker basket chair in the lounge which was broken and exposed a sharp section of wicker. It was too dangerous to sit on. If you’re looking for a quiet ski holiday this may not be the best venue. The apartments floors are tiled and the walls and ceilings are VERY thin the noise from other guests can be quite disturbing, also, our room was on the same side as the outdoor swimming pool, so again, this can be very noisy in the late afternoons. Would I stay here again?... Probably not.
